‘Gathering In Liberty’

At the end of the first night of the ‘Gathering In Liberty,’ I went home as defeated as I’ve ever been. As I wept before the Lord, His gentle voice spoke “Never judge by the outward appearance what I am doing in the hearts of men. Lose your mindset and expectancy of ‘what I am doing’ looks like.” These words sustained me throughout the weekend as the ‘Gathering In Liberty’ did not resemble anything I had imagined. During the weeks and days leading up to this event, not once did I realize the price I would pay during these three days. A death occurred that words cannot adequately describe.

Testimony is coming from many who attended the ‘Gathering In Liberty,’ and for the most part the theme is the same - “I am different; I am changed.” For some, the words are “overwhelmingly changed!” For those who endured the entire three days, a fire was present that burned through us like wildfire. The old order was exposed, as many who have escaped Babylon are learning, Babylon still has root in us. The third day of this gathering was glorious, and made the first two days worth what must be endured to reach the symbolic ‘Third Day.’ Were it possible, I would not have returned for Day Two, much less Day Three as I was filled with discouragement, despair, and disgust at being part of the ‘same old thing.’ I thank God that I had no choice but to remain, as my flesh would have caused me to miss a great ‘Third Day’ resurrection that can only occur in death, and of greater importance, the true garden of apostolic and prophetic birthing.

Interestingly, a three day fire started in our area just as the last of our visitors departed on Thursday March 24^th, 2011. The first day these fires burned with reckless abandon as gusting and shifting winds made it almost impossible to contain. Flames were so high that they arched over roads an instantly started new burns. Chaos and anguish filled the air as did prayer! My son had three homes in the middle of this firestorm, including his primary residence, and in all three cases the fires roared right up to his properties, which were divinely protected. This testimonial evidence changed my son’s life (the oldest of my three children) as he witnessed the power of such a storm, and the level of protection afforded in the midst of it. By the third day, the fires were completely contained as a virtual calm came to the area though the evidence of the fire will remain for years. The number three keeps resurfacing as three people handed me three hundred dollars on the third day of the gathering. This also happened to at least one other brother who too was handed three hundred dollars. Three represents completeness and fullness, and much was established and completed in our three day journey.

As I now reflect on the 'Gathering,' I am deeply convinced that much of the initial confusion was in 'not knowing' what God wanted; though He allowed an 'unknowing' such that 'He' could provide His understanding and not our (man's) attempt to interpret His direction. He let us journey through a three day 'discovery' process of Apostolic establishing and understanding beyond our own knowledge. This Gathering was not the casual 'Elder' based home group gatherings we are all so familiar with, though we attempted to start it that way, but rather something of a higher order as the government of God is being established and released in the earth. This government (new wineskin) must be in place for the new wine to be released. Prophetically, the two are becoming one: Apostolically, the government of God is being established.

Though we were overjoyed in the connections and connectivity of the true Body, there was something ‘greater’ taking place as we saw an open display of Kingdom order established (NO FLESH WILL GLORY IN HIS PRESENCE; EVERY KINGDOM HAS LAWS - ORDER AND POSITION; WHAT GOD ESTABLISHES IS FOREVER; THE TWO, MAN AND GOD, WERE MERGED INTO ONE; REVERENTIAL FEAR OF THE LORD; PREPARATION FOR THE GREATEST OUTPOURING THE EARTH HAS WITNESSED; A CLEAR SEPARATION BETWEEN WHAT IS AND WHAT IS NOT; THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE HOUR.)

Of the Gathering, I witnessed Day One as man; Day Two as God and man; Day Three as God: On the third day the stone was rolled away and the 'dead body' arose from its tomb. HIS Life/Purpose has been released in us individually and corporately, as we begin to move about and function as an Army under the direction of our Commander. Any attempt to return to the old order will be wrought in failure, as transparency and repentance are keys to understanding and advancement in the Kingdom government being established in the earth today. Traditional beliefs were torn from my thinking as I’ve come to realize Kingdom government has specific order, hierarchy, and position; and while the current Christian fad is to know your spiritual name, the greatest importance in this hour is knowing your position in God's governmental order, and how and who you are connected to within this Third Day (Kingdom) Government.

In summary, Forerunners can expect three definite occurrences during this time in our earthly journey: 1) Every aspect of our lives will touch God's order as God's Kingdom is governmental order; and all governmental order begins with self. What is out of order will find His order, first in us individually, and then spread outward. 2) Much persecution will come to prevent what God is establishing - expect it! 3) Overwhelming physical evidence of God's Kingdom order touching earth is visible in both the natural and spiritual world for those who can see it (Isaiah 9:6,7). Ishmael has given way to Isaac as the two can no longer dwell in the same house!

Interesting.  Three fires also broke out the day after the gathering in GA upon return to Colorado.  All near Denver.  The largest outside Golden,  then Evergreen and Conifer.
