1. Set Your Affection

Col 3:2 KJV: Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Retaining a sound mind in the time of worldwide insanity seems an impossibility to most people including many Christians.

It is not only possible to live a godly quality of life in the time of worldwide traumatic upheaval, it is also possible to rest in the LOVE, peace, and joy of God’s righteousness in Christ and Christ in us.

It is even possible to become a part of a force of change from God to bring about the redemption and restoration of the world to God’s original design and purpose.

One key to living in victory in a desperate season of worldly tribulation is to truly grasp the reality that our life does not consist in things of this world. This world did not give us life, and it cannot take it away.

God made man in His image and breathed His life into him. Man failed in Adam and succumbed to the evil one and his ungodly ways.  Christ Jesus has provided complete and full redemption and restoration to all who will turn to Him to receive God’s provision of Spirit life now and in the life to come.

Eternal Life Now

We are spirit beings who live in a body and have a soul. Our spirit is designed to primarily relate to the heavenly realm. Our soul is designed to primarily relate to the earthly realm. Our body houses the spirit and the soul, and all three together are one person much like God is three: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, yet the three are One God.

Man is the only created being with the ability to function in both the heavenly Spirit realm and the earthly soul realm. We also have the choice as to which realm will be dominant and rule in our lives on earth. As human beings we are ruled by the realm that we choose to love, whether the heavenly realm or the earthly realm.

A decision not to love God with our whole heart (spirit and soul) causes us to remain as fallen mankind living after Adam. Living after Adam is to love earthly natural life and the things of the fallen world.

To love God is to abide in and be ruled by the heavenly Spirit realm of life that is eternal and far above the natural earthly fallen life. Eternal life is not just quantity of life, but it is a greatly superior quality life now and in the life to come.

Life of the Spirit ruling in our lives sets us apart and we are no longer ruled by natural life.

The heavenly eternal life on earth is the kingdom of God life of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit that is not subject to the circumstances of this world. It is life above the natural earthly realm and is unaffected by the evil of the fallen world. It is the life that can release God’s redemption and restoration into the fallen world – the life of a world changer – the life of Christ in us. It is living in the victory of peace and joy in the midst of a crumbling upside down world system of darkness.

Care and Feeding of Spirit Life

The abundant life of peace in the Spirit does not come from human strength but from godly wisdom. The words of God’s wisdom written in the Bible give us the way to life in abundant peace that is unrelated to conditions in this world. If we will value these words as vital to life in the times of troubling transitions that are before us now, we will experience perfect peace and unlimited power in Christ. We will pour life out through Christ in us to the maturing Sons of God, thus bringing forth His kingdom.

Spirit life exists in our relationship with God through being in Christ and is brought to life in the world by Christ in us all by the Holy Spirit. The time is past when people could survive apart from the reality of relationship through the Holy Ghost.

Spirit life must be fed to remain strong. It is fed by what is imparted into us through our focus of love and affection toward God and the things that are from heaven. A life focused on the evil things going on in this world is a life of stress and fear that leads toward sickness and premature death – even a “living death” of hopelessness while we yet live.

Our focus, our hearts, and minds must be set upon heavenly things, things that are above; the things of God in Christ by the Spirit must enlighten our souls and become our life of abiding in His presence.

Those who exercise their God-given ability to choose to receive only that which comes from God into their thinking will live above the clamor of destructive forces of every form of painful fear and anger.

With the power of choice that has been given to us, we can set the affection of our minds on thing of God and not on the things of this world. Thereby we can endure and maintain a sound mind in a time of worldwide insanity.

Phil 6-9: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

What we choose to allow to come into our soul through what we choose to look upon, what we choose to hear, what we allow our mind to think upon becomes seeds of reality in our hearts that will produce the reality of our lives and will either enhance or limit our potential in this life now and in the future.

What flows through our lives now into the world affects the world with the seeds from the fruit of our lives.

The seeds of word pictures, thoughts, and feelings that we received and retained into our heart will be planted into others around us and into the world. The fruit of our life contains the seeds to plant the same fruit in others and into the world. This is true whether the seed is good or bad; it will produce fruit after its kind.

The world is governed by the collective release of what is received and reproduced in the hearts and lives of mankind on earth.

Our current world is being formed by mass media, video games, movies, music, godless educational systems, published written material, and verbal communications. One can accurately project the future of a people or nation by observing what is being fed into the hearts of the people through the media that feed the souls of people and forms what they think and believe which forms who they are and how they function in this life.

These powerful systems have so been used by the enemy to corrupt the souls of people that the world is more grossly corrupted with evil on a broader scale than ever before. These same systems could have been used to produce a worldwide loving and powerful godly culture greater than ever known before on planet earth.

If godless mass media news is planted into our minds consistently we will probably never know the peace of God that surpasses understanding. If our eyes and ears are focused on that which is violent, evil, lustful, or otherwise ungodly, whether fact or fantasy, our minds will be fed by it, and the peace of God will not guard our hearts and minds in desperate times. In fact, we would probably add to the darkness and turmoil in the world.

Col 3:1-2 NKJV: If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Our endurance in God during the suffering of persecution opens the way for God to fully judge evil in the world while at the same time giving us rest in His presence and the glory of His power. God is glorified as the Lord is being revealed in His people in this Day. If you can receive it, we have come to this place in time as written two millennia ago.

Not only shall we endure, but we shall abide in the victory of a world made righteous in the love and power of God in Christ in His purified Bride of many Sons of God shining forth in His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

2 Thes 1:4-10: so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (Gal 5:25)

2. The Greatest Obstacle to Gaining the Truth

The greatest obstacle to gaining the truth is the assumption we already have it. Seldom do our circumstances change without something in us changing first. We can, and will, stay in the muck and mire of current circumstance UNTIL we shed our own "traditional" understanding of truth. Why? "Because traditional thought and understanding often make the TRUE WORD OF GOD TO NO EFFECT."

The strength of the oppressor lies in the ignorance of the oppressed, and in this day of changing spiritual eras, many are stuck in the 2nd Day message while living in a 3rd Day season.

There are some lessons that can only come in the Lion’s Den, hence the fires of affliction (judgment) first falling on the true ecclesia to separate us from the world, and at the same time, placing a 3rd Day understanding into our 2nd Day mindset. The 'world' is anywhere and anything on this planet where the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is not in force.

Where is your current pressure? Where is your current fire? Open yourself to the fires of affliction that come, such that the garbage of traditional thinking can be consumed; AND THEN watch freedom and Liberty emerge beyond anything you can imagine.

3. The Door of Escape is About to Close

Darkness marches on as though God is unaware; evil increases as though God will do nothing; the enemy is taking prisoners freely, as though there is no deliverer; wickedness flaunts itself on TV, in movie theatres, magazines and newspapers around the world as though they are in control; but God is going to suddenly turn on the light of His glory, without notice, He is going to show up and darkness will flee. The enemy is throwing a party that many are engaged in, but when the glory comes down and the darkness flees, people will be seen in shameful places.

The Lord has been speaking, He has been calling people out of these systems of darkness, but many have shut their ears to His voice, because of the benefits they are receiving from the systems. They were lured in with promises of wealth, women, promotion, position, etc. and many went like sheep to the slaughter, not knowing it is a trap. My people are trapped in systems of debt; sexually immoral systems; governmental and political systems; and religious systems. God has been making a way of escape, but you have refused to leave, let go, say no. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life have trapped you and you think no one sees, no one notices. But God has been calling out to you, you hear His voice, but you refuse to come out. You have been warned of the coming disaster/judgment, but you think you will escape.

The door of escape is about to close, the opportunity to exit is coming to an end, once the door is shut, your decision will be final. This is yet another call to come out of her. Fear is keeping you bound, but if you will yield and say yes to the voice of God, the Lord will set you free. Come out of her My people, don't delay, the door of exit is about to close.

4. Get Back on the Road

Get back on the road. Your journey must continue. I know what it's like to park. I'm not talking about parking my car. I parallel parked my purpose. In a nice comfort zone spot not too far from mediocrity. I started off in the right direction, but somewhere somehow I allowed fear, doubt, and stress to serve as an excuse to PARK.

Well, the time has come to get back on the road. The dangerous road of life where there is no AAA coverage. So many of us have no agent to call when the accidents in life total our spirits and make it hard to keep moving forward. Well, sometimes in life, the only insurance that matters is courage.

Do you have the courage to pull out of the spot that you limited yourself to after your heart was broken and your money ran out? Or did you park when a doctor gave you some tragic news? Today, pull out of that parking spot and don't look back. Let someone else have a pity party. You have a destiny to reach!

They recently released a statement detailing the ongoing persecution of believers and directed the world community to take action. “Targeted attacks have been carried out by armed militants against evangelicals, by abductions, beatings, torture, threats of execution, seizures of places of worship.”

A Well for Strangers - 7/31/2014
The crowd was gathered around a well, and someone was announcing that the well belonged to the whole village—that anyone, without hesitation, could take water from the “Jesus Well” at any time. “Why are Christians doing this charitable work even though they do not know this community?” Pastor answered by telling him about Jesus and His great love.


Escape from Mosul - 7/31/2014
Those remaining families who were part of the final exodus left with only the clothes they were wearing. Some were stopped at checkpoints at the edge of the city, where armed men confiscated their cars and any personal belongings, including cell phones and money. Elderly or sick believers who cannot travel out of the city face a very different challenge.


Hamas, Not Israel, Hit Gaza Hospital, Refugee Camp - 7/31/2014
The Israel Defense Forces released a photo showing the trajectory and impact point of four Hamas rockets, two of which landed in the Gaza Strip killing nine Palestinian children, Israel says. IDF radars and sensors detected the four rockets. One hit the al-Shifa Hospital, one hit the Shati refugee camp, one landed in the Mediterranean Sea, and one was intercepted.

"I didn't discriminate against anybody. I've chosen not to make cakes for same-sex weddings. The order requires Phillips and his staff to make cakes for same-sex celebrations if asked. He must also re-educate his staff about Colorado's Anti-Discrimination Act. Artists must endorse all views. He will submit quarterly "compliance" reports to the government for two years.
