All who trust in Jesus as the Son of God (1 Jn 4:7-21), Savior and Lord are filled with joy the world doesn’t know. Joy comes from God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Filled with joy from God our Father
We
give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always
for you, having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love
which ye have toward all the saints, because of the hope which is laid
up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the
truth of the gospel, which is come unto you; even as it is also in all
the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since
the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth; even as ye learned
of Epaphras our beloved fellow-servant, who is a faithful minister of
Christ on our behalf, who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
For
this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray and
make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his
will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the
Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing
in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the
might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Colossians 1:3-12
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. filled with joy. Romans 15:13
Filled with joy from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy
made full in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world
hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the
world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that
thou shouldest keep them from the evil one . They are not of the world
even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth: thy word is
truth. As thou didst send me into the world, even so sent I them into
the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves
also may be sanctified in truth.
Neither
for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through
their word; that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me,
and I in thee, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe
that thou didst send me.
And
the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they
may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and thou in me, that they may
be perfected into one; that the world may know that thou didst
send me, and lovedst them, even as thou lovedst me. Father, I desire
that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they
may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me
before the foundation of the world.
O
righteous Father, the world knew thee not, but I knew thee; and these
knew that thou didst send me; and I made known unto them thy name, and
will make it known; that the love wherewith thou lovedst me may be in
them, and I in them. John 17:13-25
Filled with joy of the Holy Spirit
We
give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our
prayers; remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of
love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and
Father; knowing, brethren beloved of God, your election, how that our
gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the
Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what manner of men
we showed ourselves toward you for your sake. And ye became imitators of
us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit; so that ye became an ensample to all that believe in Macedonia and in Achaia. 1 Thessalonians 1:2-7
The joy of our salvation
Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his
great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of
Jesus Christ from the dead, unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who
by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to
be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now
for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold
trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than
gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto
praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ: whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory: receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:3-9
