Australia Calls for Prayer Help from USA: Month of Prayer and Fasting to Preserve Traditional Marriage and Families

Over the last several years Australia has led a worldwide call for extended periods of Prayer & Fasting for America. Now Australian prayer leaders are asking for prayer support from the USA and other parts of the world as they face the homosexual juggernaut of the political elites to redefine marriage in Australia. The current Turnbull government won the recent election but their policy for a ‘free people's vote on marriage redefinition' is being challenged by elite political forces. 

The good news is the Catholic Church called for a month of Prayer and Fasting for Marriage and Families throughout October 2016. Support for this important initiative has been confirmed by Christian leaders and churches from all over Australia. 
 
James Condon, head of Strategic Church Relations for the National Day of Prayer and Fasting said, "Support for this historic initiative by the Catholic Church here in Australia is gathering momentum. We, on behalf of all the other churches of Australia who are joining with us, congratulate the Catholic Church for showing leadership and taking the initiative to launch a national call for a month of Prayer and Fasting for Marriage. The Bible is clear on this important issue, "Jesus said for this reason a man shall leave his mother and father and the two shall become one flesh". 
 
Condon continued, "Key Christian Aboriginal leaders are also supporting this call for prayer and fasting to protect marriage from redefinition.
