A List of What God Wants

Many of us are good at making prayer lists (or shopping lists, as they’re sometimes called), telling God what we want, but I decided to ask Him for a list of what He wants.

I received the following, with tears:

Purity

Perfect hearts

The joy of the Lord

Restoration

Refreshing

Change of heart and mind

Tears of repentance to flow

Real love

Healed lives

Courage to repent

Thanks

Trust

Respect

Worship

Understanding

Knowledge

New birth of self worth

My people to know who they are

Their destiny fulfilled

To know me

My goodness

Abundance of grace

Closeness with My beloved

To wipe away their tears

Encouragement

Love in return

Obedience

Relationship with My children

To make their crooked paths straight

Reverence/reverential fear

That’s what I want for, or from, My children.

Help me Lord to be pleasing unto you.  Help me Lord to give you the above list.  Make my heart right with you oh Lord for you alone are my priority!

You're welcome, Anita. I was amazed at Him having given me such a list of what He wants. Maybe He's just been waiting to be asked.

Sometimes we get so selfish in wanting what we want rather than asking Him what He wants.

I'm so glad He shared His heart with me.
