Burns -- May 26, 2010:
Watch for the
challenges that come through
encounters with people who lack spiritual
understanding and refuse to hear. Yours is to only
speak the truth as a seed planted and release them to
Me, says the Lord. Resist the temptation to try to force
them to "get it". Flesh cannot perceive the Spirit. Don't
allow frustration to be the outcome of such an
encounter; speak what I give you and move on without
regret. John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the
world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor
knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you
and will be in you. |

Wow! I have just been speaking to an old friend on the phone whom I havnt spoken to for several years,she attends a church which holds to the doctrine that the spiritual gifts passed away after "the apostolic age". I really needed these words at this time. I also had an encounter with another person earlier on today where these words apply also. Thank you Lord,I spoke the Truth and I release these poeple to you.

Amen to this,,,"we are spiritual farmers", planting the "LIVING WORD" in people,,,other saints come along & water this seed sown; but it is GOD BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT alone that gives growth. There comes a time when the seed is mature & the reaping of a harvest comes about whether it be salvation, deliverance, healing-the seed produces after it's own kind. ABBA FATHER'S plan for ALL creation is seed-time & harvest; after we plant the growth is up to the person & GOD. YOU ARE AWESOME PAPA!

Yes.. Brenda and Gayle.. I have people in my life too
that I have been planting seeds of truth with. It can
be hard to walk away afterward when we care about the
person and want to see them walking in God's will.
Amen Gayle we are spiritual farmers- planting the word..
I pray that the waterers will be right in step behind us
that these people will hear what the Holy Spirit is trying to show them.. "that they will submit to God's
calling on their heart".. and that seed will grow.
Lord, thank you for these opportunities that come my
way to speak the truth. Help us all to have patience
when you are working on someone's heart that is "not
getting it." You give us free will, but you Lord "ALSO
HONOR OUR DECISION WHEN WE CHOOSE WISELY TO LISTEN
TO WHAT YOU HAVE TOLD US." Because you make known the paths of life.. we are not to lean on our own
understanding, because when we acknowledge you,
"contentment and peace" are added to us. We entrust
those in our lives that we have planted a seed with, to
you.. and ask that you do a work in their hearts and
and soften the hardness and stubborness that is holding
them back from submitting to you.
