Power From Beyond
By Ron McGatlin
Can you feel the trembling of the foundations upon which the castles of pride are built? Soon and very soon all that lifts itself against the words of God will begin to crumble before the eyes of the humble and faithful sons of God.
Like heat-seeking missiles, words from God will seek out and destroy pride and loftiness of man. There will be no place to hide from the piercing, rapid-fire missiles of powerful words from God. Like fleets of rockets with nuclear warheads, words of power from beyond the veil will stream toward targets of pride (Isa 2:11-18).
The payload of power in the word-missiles is the exploding LOVE of God.
God is Love
Love is a most powerful motivational force from heaven flowing out through Christ Jesus in the Holy Spirit to powerfully affect Planet Earth and all that is on it. Holy love is the power that establishes and holds the kingdom of God together.
Tolerance and passivity are not characteristics of the love of God.
Holiness and passion are indeed parts of the nature of the love of God.
Mercy and long-suffering are very different things from tolerance. In the love of God, there is no tolerance for sin or worship of other gods. God cannot tolerate sin and will not continue to allow His children to serve other gods. God hates sin and is jealous for His people. God loves righteousness and is overjoyed with the worshipful response of love from His people. God’s divine love for His people is complete when it flows back to Him in devoted worshipful love from His people.
Where there is unrighteousness in the people of God, His love calls for repentance. When repentance does not come forth in response to God’s love, correction in the form of chastening is called for, by His love, to turn the people back to God. Corrective judgment, when properly responded to, leads to an outpouring of grace to empower the people to live righteously. The work of love is the establishment and cohesiveness of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
Do not be deceived.
We greatly deceive ourselves if we believe because God is merciful and longsuffering that He is in any way tolerant of our sin and our adulterous relationship with other gods including the god of self or self-indulgence. Christ Jesus is the expression of God’s love to redeem and restore the world beginning with mankind. To reject God’s provision of the resurrection life of Christ Jesus abiding within by the Holy Spirit is to deny the love of God and turn to other gods.
Two major gods that cause painful devastation to mankind are self and religion. Both are characterized by lust and pride and are driven by unfulfilled personal need for God in the hearts of mankind.
Religion involves the worship of other spirits by appeasing them with sacrifice, keeping rituals, obedience (following their systems of behavior), and looking to them for provisions of life. All religions of the world including the modern expressions of the Christian religion are either completely operated by other spirits, or they are a mixture.
The god of self involves worshiping the created over the Creator, consuming the world for the pleasure of self, and looking to ourselves for provisions of life. Scripture uses terms like “the flesh” and “love of this world” in relation to the worship of self. Some non-biblical terms are secularism or secular humanism, mind-control, self-control, self-confidence, and more.
Lust and pride have led much if not most of the world into grievous deception away from God and into servitude and bondage of the evil one.
Only a powerful release of the power of God from beyond the veil will transform and restore Planet Earth. Every tree that our Heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted (Mat 15:13). Powerful holy angels working with the maturing sons of God in whom Christ abides will know no limitations and will proclaim and carry out the word of our Father. The passion and zeal of God will perform the great harvest of cleansing and restoring the earth to the righteousness of God and into the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven (Isa 9:6-7).
Isa 2:17-18: The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The LORD alone will be exalted in that day, But the idols He shall utterly abolish.
Luke 12:32: "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
Mat 6:10: Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Keep on pursuing love. It never fails
and His kingdom never ends.
