The Power of Holiness

Psa 33:12: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD....
Psa 144:15: ....Happy are the people whose God is the LORD!

A holy people, set apart to God, will experience the favor of God. The favor of God makes a nation strong and powerful. The disfavor of God makes a nation week and powerless.

Historically, many leaders and the nations they led have perished in shame and misery because they did not fear God and did not hope in His mercy. Rather they chose to believe that their own strengths would deliver them. Though they may have developed mighty armies of multitudes of ruthless men trained in violence to destroy and conquer, they all met pitiful ends in shameful defeat.

God is looking for a holy people, a people set apart to Him, who will fear Him and hope in His mercy and not hope in their might or in their weapons of war.

Psa 33:16-18: No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.

Even those nations who in the past trusted in the Lord and experienced His favor - even His chosen people when they turned to other gods they became powerless and were destroyed until only a remnant remained.

Has God Changed? Will it be different now? Will God look upon the nations differently now than He has throughout all history? Will He somehow allow nations that have turned to other gods continue in favor and power?

When nations that were once God fearing nations turn to other gods of pleasure, lust and lofty pride they became weak and their enemies were strengthened. Their enemies that were once restrained became encouraged and raised up in rage to conquer the once godly nations.

God is looking for a holy people to show Himself strong in the world.

2 Chr 16:9: "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

GOD'S NATION WITHIN NATIONS

A nation of sons of God is coming into being far below the surface of the highly visible, vainglorious, political and religious leaders who are moving their nations toward violently destroying one another. God will have a kingdom, remnant nation of many ethnic tribes and tongues. Like a garment of many colors, a nation that was no nation and a people who were not a people, woven together into a nation of kings and priests into the one body of Christ Jesus. A body that is shaped in the character and nature of Christ Jesus held together by His love and connected by His Spirit. This will be a nation of natural people moving in supernatural works of God.

The "ecclesia" is being formed among us now. The maturing people of God will live in supernatural, intimate communion with God. They may be only 5 years old or they may be 75, but they will experience the reality of oneness with God and express His essence into the world. Supernatural things will seem completely natural to them as they demonstrate the miraculous ways and wisdom of God from heaven on earth. Through these holy kingdom people, the creative power of heaven will be released to bring the world into perfect alignment with the ways and will of Father. God will have a holy remnant of kingdom people.

The Fall of Babylon

A great fall is certain for the vainglorious nations who have disqualified themselves from the glory of God by establishing their own lofty prideful ways. As it has been in history, so will it be now; those who depart from the path of purity and holiness of God will fail, and great will be their fall.

Evil has increased in the world. There are more people in more nations that are deceived and now despise God and His people. The mountains that have once dripped with honey will drip with blood. To whom much is given, much is required. There is no more salvation for the nations that having known God have turned back to their vomit and crucified Christ afresh as they put to death the Spirit of Christ within. There is no hope for Babylon. Only the remnant that stands afar off will see the smoke of Babylon and yet survive. God will have His holy nation of kingdom people.

Jer 51:55-57: Because the LORD is plundering Babylon And silencing her loud voice, Though her waves roar like great waters, And the noise of their voice is uttered, Because the plunderer comes against her, against Babylon, And her mighty men are taken. Every one of their bows is broken; For the LORD is the God of recompense, He will surely repay. "And I will make drunk her princes and wise men, her governors, her deputies, and her mighty men. And they shall sleep a perpetual sleep And not awake," says the King, Whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Only those who have the seed of the kingdom deep in their hearts by the Holy Spirit will ever come out of the walled prisons of godless and perverted mixtures of religious and secular deceptions of Babylon. The deception is strong and the darkness is great as evil flourishes where the great religious walls of fallacious doctrines and man's traditions keep out the true light of God. Where there is no light, vile secular and religious activities will lead to hidden demonic practices involving drugs, gross sexual perversion and immorality, sorcery and psychic practices, and eventually murder and suicide. All of this gross darkness can be hiding in the lower chambers of the vainglorious institutions that have fallen under the spell of the Great Harlot Babylon.

Awake Kingdom People - Awake!

Those who have suffered in the wilderness and have been oppressed by Babylonian spirits have now been broken and melted into pure love and holiness in Christ. For these it is time to awaken to the light and speak the words God has put within you.

Isa 51:16-17: And I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, And say to Zion, 'You are My people.'" Awake, awake! Stand up, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk at the hand of the LORD The cup of His fury; You have drunk the dregs of the cup of trembling, And drained it out.

Isa 52:1-3: Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! For thus says the LORD: "You have sold yourselves for nothing, And you shall be redeemed without money."

The mission of Christ Jesus is to redeem all that was lost and establish the government of God from heaven on earth. The zeal of the Lord is bringing about His everlasting kingdom established in judgment and justice.

Isa 9:6-7: For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

His people, the saints of the Most High are given the everlasting kingdom.

Dan 7:27: Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

Seeing the magnitude of these things, what kind of people should we be, and what kind of things should we be doing as we see these things approaching?
