“Soon,
Your Grief Will Be Turned To Joy!”
by Lonnie
Mackley August 20th, 2014
JN 11:21 "Lord,"
Martha said to Jesus, "if you had been here, my brother would not have
died”.
I just felt
led to encourage some of you with a word that I got from the Lord today. Some
of you had been praying for miracles for a long time for certain things (sicknesses,
relationships, finances, and other things), but when the time limit ran out for
the miracle and it didn’t happen the way that you had hoped, you saw the worse-case
scenario happen and it left you heartbroken and disappointed.
JN 11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will
not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified
through it."
The Lord
wants you to know today that even though things didn’t go the way that you had
hoped they would, that a miracle is still going to happen for you very soon.
Like Lazarus, when it seemed too late to fix things, God is going to step in
for you after the fact and do the impossible! Remember that God likes
His miracles good and impossible first, so that people will know that He alone
did it.
JN 11:22 “But I know that even now God will give you whatever you
ask."
So no
matter how bad things seemed to have turned out in the end in your situation,
Jesus wants you to be like Martha and to believe that He alone can do the
impossible even though things look and actually are as dead as they get. You
have asked that God would receive glory through your life so expect things to
look impossible first. Get excited, because soon your grief will be turned to
joy!
JN 16: 20 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while
the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.
