The events, which are expected to draw up to 20,000 Muslims, will include everything from prayer, to a regal banquet and a cultural festival.

BIMA says they are using the events to attract attention to the plight of Muslims in America and that they all the events they are planning are non-political.

"We hope our people will leave feeling rewarded about who they are and what their issues are and have a candidate checklist," BIMA spokesman Jibril Hough told the Charlotte Observer.

CBN News Terrorism Analyst Erick Stakelbeck talked more about the program and why it should be a cause for concern, on CBN Newswatch, Aug. 22.
