A San Antonio woman is among two Americans left in one of the most dangerous regions of Africa. The US Embassy has warned US citizens to leave South Sudan, but Carolyn Figlioli refuses to abandon the 147 orphans she cares for.

Figlioli is a retired US Navy Chief and former ROTC instructor for Seguin High School.

She got the calling to move to Africa fulltime several years ago.
