It's not yet known to what extent the plan had progressed. The alert came in from Israel's Shin Bet (internal security agency), which reportedly arrested several Palestinians who were accused of plotting attacks. The arrested men were said to have been "recruited by an operative…who worked for Al Qaeda's Ayman al-Zawahiri."
