A mother in Union County, North Carolina, told WJZY-TV that her son, a freshman at Porter Ridge High School, brought home a worksheet on Islam containing some questionable answers. She was upset enough over the assignment that she contacted the school and her local news station after reviewing the material. It should be noted that school officials have yet to provide a completed version of the worksheet to the news outlet. Though it appears that the high school has not disputed the content, the answers were filled in by the student and seemingly have yet to be verified as 100 percent correct. “If you are going to do it, let’s do it right,” the mother told WJYZ-TV. “I really feel there is a spin on this.” The mother, who asked to remain anonymous so her child isn’t singled out at school, said officials didn’t provide a clear answer when she asked if Christianity is being taught in the same fashion. A spokesman at the Islamic Center for Charlotte told the news station that schools shouldn’t teach that Muslims’ faith is automatically stronger than that of Christians. It's the starting in of brainwashing our children to believe what they, the Muslims, are saying (and believe), that is what they do to their own children, to teach them error of our culture, Americans, so that they will believe and adhere to the lie, thinking it is truth. Train up a child in the way that they shall go, and they shall not depart. Training, that's the key. Even if our own children, brought up in church, a Christian home, still have their own choices to make in life, even with the Word being poured into them. They also receive of our culture here in the West [western ideology]. It's a choice pertaining to all, but what will be believed and received. We must keep praying and speaking the Word of God over our families and nations. After all, Jesus said we are called to be a house of prayer. Evil prays [preys], so, we must prevail so that hell does not prevail against His [the Lord's] church. ------------- Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength. |
