So far there has been a "phenomenal response" to the message in Madrid, Barcelona, and Vigo, Spain, according to the report. Conference host, Mike Haley noted a huge need for the message of hope brought by Love Won Out. "Most of their churches have never dealt with this issue," said Haley. "They're very hungry, they're starving for the truth." He also shared some stories that have already come out of some of the meetings, "In Barcelona there was a young man whose mom encouraged him to attend. He was supposed to go to on a trip to Italy, and he had to cancel his trip to be here. His words to me were that, when he heard the message, he was 'devastated in a good way.' "He really wanted to do something with his life and wanted to leave the (homosexual) lifestyle." Haley added that the young man was given a Christian mentor to help him overcome the same-sex attractions that he was struggling with.
