Equipping God’s People

Wait on Him

God promises us that His children will be strong only in Him.
Many times there is the tendency to do things on our own and
go ahead of the Lord. Today the Lord is saying “to wait on
Him”. We are not to go ahead of Him for in doing so we get
ourselves in lots of trouble. It is in waiting on Him that
we will find peace.

We are told to put on the full armor of God so that we can
stand against the tactics of the enemy. Are you wearing
your armor today? Are there any pieces missing? It is so
easy to go ahead and rush into ones day without doing so.

The Word for us today is to wait on Him. Before you make
any decisions, come before the Lord and ask of Him. Before
You step out your door allow Him to lead you. In opening
our mouths do we ask Him for sanctified tongues or do we
blurt out the first thing that comes to mind and then find
ourselves in hot water. Ouch that was hot!

We need to have truth in our hearts and search our hearts
daily to see that we are walking with clean hearts before
our Lord. It is good to pray that prayer. Create in me a
clean heart O God and renew a right spirit within me.

It is guaranteed that God will help you look into your
heart. He knows you better than you know yourself and will
take your heart and turn you around if you are going in
the wrong direction.

Ask the Lord to create in you a clean heart and renew a
right spirit within you. Make this your prayer today and
the Lord will work in your heart and life and do above all
you ask or hope for. Wait on Him.

Equipping God's People

The Door is Now Open

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom
came, and thoses who were ready went in with him to the
wedding; and the door was shut. Matthew 25:10 (NKJV)

God has placed an open door in front of you. It is there for you
to walk through at this moment in time. Jesus is knocking at the
door of your heart and inviting you now to say "yes" to Him.
The hour is indeed late as you are only assured of the very
moment that you are living. Will you hear His call and come to
Him today?

The scriptures speaks of the five wise and five foolish virgins.
The five wise knew just how to prepare for His return and
were prepared when the bridegroom arrived. Five were
foolish and did not take time to prepare until it was too late.

Have you prepared your heart and trimmed your lamp with oil?
Are you doing those things that the Lord is speaking to you
to do? Are you looking forward to the Lord's returning?
Jesus has given you time to prepare and He has told us
that He will return in like manner as He left.

It is up to you today to call on Jesus with your whole heart.
Let Him be your first love. There is nothing like first love
and He is softly and very tenderly calling you to come back to
Him now.

Bless you Patricia,

Lord I do pray that you create in me a clean heart, set apart for You Lord.  Purify all that is within me that doesn't radiate Your love and Your glory Lord.

And Lord, I come before You, a lady in waiting, continually waiting for more of Your presence...  for in Your presence is the fullness of all that is needed.  May I keep the battle sword drawn and my lamp filled with oil, fully prepared, for in the twinkling of an eye, we will be caught up with You for eternity.

Keep me ever mindful of You Lord in all that I do and say.  May I always re present You!

Very good reminder Patricia. Yes, to wait on Him and to put on the WHOLE armor of God. I'm not sure that people understand what that means, to put on the armor. It's more than just speaking on the various parts, but in thinking about the meaning of each part. When our loins are girded with truth, for example, that means that there is no untruth in us.

Bless you for sharing with us here.

Love,

Ann
