The Garden of Your Soul

March 17, 2009

I am busy tending the garden of your soul.  I am pulling all of those unsightly weeds out by the roots.  I am burning them, casting them into a fire that ignites them and burns them into nothingness.  That is the way that I work.  I remove all hindrances and they are never seen again.

I am tending the gardens of souls.  I am pruning certain areas, pruning back areas that have grown wild and out of bounds, out of My boundaries.  You will see that these areas will take on a wondrous new look and will blossom forth in ways you never dreamed possible.

I am tilling the soil.  I am replenishing it with the genuine article, the love of the living God.  This replenished soil is rich, fertile, and will produce the desired results.

I am sending the rain of My Spirit on the garden of your soul.  It is soaking in, going deep, reviving the roots and enabling them to go deeper, deeper into the truth that is planted therein.  Yes, this will enable the roots to be healthy and vibrant, producing a crop in your garden that will get the world’s attention.

I am pleased with the gardens that I am tending - so pleased.  I am delighted to see them blossom forth into the beauty that I foreordained for them to grow.  I am delighted to see the vibrant colors, hues that the world has never seen, shining forth from the gardens that I so delight in tending.

Look on your own garden and know that I am working in it, bringing about My will in a startling fashion, a fashion that will delight you.  Know that I never tire of My work.  I never throw up My hands in disgust.  I till, and I prune, and I pull up roots at My own pace.  I never get in a big hurry.  I am patient.  I am so patient that some of the owners of the gardens chide Me about the slowness of My work.  I just give them a loving pat and say, “Trust Me.  Trust Me with your garden.  I am doing a fine work.  I am bringing about a lovely garden, more lovely than you ever dreamed possible.  Trust Me, beloved, just trust Me.”

Thanks for posting this Pam!

Last night I was reading my bible and there was a commentary in it about
waiting on the Lord. Going from glory to glory. The author said that the
wanting to hurry up and get there already, maturity in Christ, is immature
thinking. That God knows what He's doing and our job is to rest in that.

Your post is just reconfirming to me that message. : )

Gotta hurry up and wait! LOL!
