Authority as Manifestation ~ learning to wear the ring.

All authority is from God.

That statement is at the crux of our misunderstandings about society and the world.

How can oppressive dictators have the authority that is from God?

It is not that God’s authority is unjust; it is that God is the author of authority and the nature of His authority is honor.

We view authority as power. We view authority as position. So naturally when our position is threatened – we feel that this authority gives us the right to maintain that position – so our retribution against the person who is challenging us is just.

Authority in this context is used to maintain our position – our privilege.

In this world then authority equals privilege.

My position is measured by success.

We defend our status violently.

The walls to our worldly kingdoms are fortified.

So what does God’s authority look like in this world?

His authority is witnessed in our liberation from the kingdoms of this world – unseen, confounding the wisdom of the world through legitimizing others.

If we gather together sharing in a selfless community – authority is truly manifested in this world. 

If we gather together walking in the true nature of authority – how can an authority that is not whole stand?

2 Corinthians 10: 4 ~ For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

All authority is from God but in this world not all carry His Manifestation because they are not accountable to the His people.

Hebrews 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”

When you carry authority and are not accountable you have fallen already because His conviction is clarity. Clarity is synonymous with com-passion – and passion is the vibrancy of life.  

“A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.”  Mark 3:24

 The learning curve is about Authority - "Learning curves are often used to measure an individual’s progress in relationship to the group."   

A curve is related to the sphere, to eternity ... encompassing  ...

interesting...it's like an ever increasing, expanding circle O  ..oh and i just thought of something..the fellowship of the ring! : )
