Below is something that has been heavy on my chest for a long time.

I hope it can help someone out there!

The Power of Words

The words you use are much more powerful than most people realize. Lasting impressions are often inscribed in someone's mind more strongly by what we say than by what we do. This seems untrue, but in fact our words are used to judge and interpret our actions. People more readily remember our words than they do our actions.
People cannot read your mind. Ever say something in anger that you did not mean? Yet trying to convince someone that the words you used in anger are untrue is often an exercise in senselessness. Your words are the only means we have of knowing your mind.

http://bible.cc/matthew/12-37.htm -  For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

Words

Talk in everlasting words

And dedicate them all to him

And he will give you all your life

He is here if you should call to him

It’s only words

And only words are all we have!

In Christ

Angie

Hi Angie, Thanks for the "Words".  I'm reminded of the Michael W. Smith song, "ancient words, ever true, changing me and changing you".  I recently went through a set of CD's by David Van Kovering's, "Quantum Leap". In there he explains that our words spoken, go on and on and penetrate every mass they touch and into infinity. Gods word has alot to say about words. "let the words of my mouth"-----  "Bless, and curse not"!---   "Let your speech be seasoned with salt"!----etc.    Our words mostly taken for grantid, are the most powerful tool we have.  "Prayer CHANGES things!!   Blessings to you, B.S.

Thanks for your kind words Bill,

I posted as some people forget the basics in life!

Maybe the saying “Practice what you preach”

Should be taken more seriously!

Thanks again and God Bless you!
