Real Kingdom Authority

By Ron McGatlin

Another level of transformation is now coming forth on earth. Kingdom authority is being imparted from God by His Spirit into His maturing sons. Love based authority is flowing into the hearts and lives of maturing sons of God to further establish His kingdom. Words from God spoken with authority bring powerful consequences.

A strong fresh wind of God’s Spirit is blowing across the land intensifying and spreading the heavenly fire of God to eventually dissolve the folly of godless living for self-pleasure.

Virtual has become a big word in modern western computerized culture. Truth and wisdom have been diluted with fantasy living that is estranged from reality. Human beings apart from God have developed their own fantasy-based virtual reality of life.  Much of the world has abandoned the reality of a useful and productive life of godly service. In its place many have adopted a foolish carnal life focused on pleasuring self.

Are we seeking from self-pleasure that which God has provided for us in His kingdom lifestyle? The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Much of the gross national product of the USA involves entertainment in some form. Amusement and entertainment have become a major part of the lives of the people. Play or some form of fantasy pleasure-seeking has become a major focus of life for many people of the world.

What would happen if the excessively huge amount of life resources spent in the world on seeking to pleasure ourselves were used for some form of useful natural or spiritual activity in serving God by providing for the real needs of mankind and the world around us?

How many trillions of dollars and trillions of hours of time are devoted to unreal short-lived fantasy pleasures seeking? Consider for a moment the vastness of the time and money involved in entertainment and amusement industries including things like television, movies, music, video games, spectator sports, reading for pleasure including books and publications, recreational use of drugs including alcohol and tobacco, gambling, porn, recreational sexual activities, amusement parks and live shows, pleasure cruises, recreational dining, and more. These are some of the largest industries in the USA and consume much of the potential productive activity of the world.

A carnival spirit of living for carnal pleasure has gripped much of the world and threatens to destroy the world economy with debt to replace the lost productivity of the people and the wasted resources of seeking to derive life from self-pleasure. Trillions of dollars are borrowed to make up the slack created by unproductive irresponsible living focused on pleasuring the flesh. Immeasurable hours of life are consumed in play rather than for productive life.

Don’t misunderstand what I am saying. I am not saying all of these activities are bad within themselves. I am not saying that we should focus on legalistically trying to change the use of these things. I am seeking to point out the truth that the use of these things for carnal pleasure is not needed to have a fulfilled life of peace and joy walking in the kingdom of God lifestyle. These things are not required for a full and joyful life walking in the light of His glory.

There is no greater joy than being used of the Lord to deliver the blessings of God to His people. There is nothing more exciting than witnessing the manifest miracles and provisions of God for His people. There is no greater joy in life than experiencing the manifest presence of the GLORY of God. There is no greater fulfillment than fruitfully serving God by providing for the real needs of His people and His world around us.

A SPIRIT OF ENTITLEMENT

The authority of God is coming forth now in the sons of God to tear down the spiritual strongholds that allow these other gods to function in our world. As the real kingdom is planted and growing in the hearts of God’s people, the harlot church and ungodly secular systems are being dismantled in the spiritual realm. One of the major factors involved in the inordinate life of self-pleasure seeking is a spirit that causes a false belief of entitlement.

From the heads of the largest governments in the world to the person lowest in the economic social order, a spirit of entitlement drives the people to feel that because of their particular situation (whatever it is) they are entitled to more of the available life resources. My old dad said it this way, “Those folks think the world owes them a living.” Today it may be the attitude that I am entitled for the government or someone or something else to provide for me and make me happy.

If a people feel that for some reason they are entitled to being provided for by someone else, at least two major faults will develop that lead to destruction.

First, a spirit of entitlement can lessen the virtue of personal responsibility to be productive in life.

Secondly, a spirit of entitlement eliminates being thankful for the provisions and blessings of God.

Being humbly thankful is a major factor in our relationship to God. This is a kingdom principle. Thanksgiving is closely related to praise. It is not possible to relate in intimate oneness with God without thanksgiving and praise.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. (Psa 95:2)

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psa 100:4)

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (Heb 13:15)

Thanksgiving also relates closely to prayer and peace in God.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

(Phil 4:6-7)

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Th 5:18)

An attitude of entitlement robs people of being thankful to God and hinders our glorifying Him as God. We will not be thankful for what we think we deserve. The foolishness of an unthankful attitude causes a lack of intimate abiding in Him and His light. Darkness invades our lives. Peace and joy are lost, and we turn to self-pleasure in an effort to make ourselves feel good again.

Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (Rom 1:21)

Only intimate relationship with God through Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit can fill our hearts and lives with His fullness of righteousness, peace, and joy. Only in Him and His presence are our hearts filled with thankful praise and our peace and joy made complete. We are humbled and eternally grateful for His undeserved gifts of love and life abundant and everlasting.

In the presence and the joy of the Lord, carnal pleasure seeking is very distasteful and is not needed or desired. We have freedom to live life in the abundance of His Spirit filling our bodies, souls, and spirits with His glory that radiates from us to the world. We have full authority in His name to break the power of the spirit of entitlement from our lives and from our world. Thus the world is being transformed to the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

Keep on pursuing Love. Love never fails
and His kingdom never ends.

Amen & amen to this Ron,,,have been 'face to face' with much of what you shared about 'wordly pleasures' taking the place of God, His glory in numerous folk's hearts...that's the way I sum it up...been sharing the pros to giving God His rightful place in folk's hearts,,,it doesnt appear any 'light' has gone on in their heads, but Holy Spirit assures me that the seeds are being planted & He will see to it that His ministry to their hearts will bear fruit. ...the breaking up of the soil/ground of hearts has to happen first and I suppose I'm being used there @ times for some...To look around and perceive where folks are standing in such darkness, I'm seeing that  the "light"-glory of God overflowing from His "on fire" people is becoming more visible...GLORY TO GOD!!!  Love you ALL

Yes, we just hear and obey. Sow the seed when told and keep watering it as long as He says. The production is up to Him and if He says it will come to pass, we can know that it will. Never stop until He says and never keep going when He says stop and move on.
