If
you have a gut feeling something is off at a prophetic gathering or
with something prophetic on the internet, stop and consider what your
gut is saying. If you have a twinge in your spirit, pay attention to
it. Jesus warned, “Beware
of false prophets. They come to you dressed like sheep, but in their
hearts they’re greedy wolves”
( http://ebible.com/query?utf=8✓&query=Mt%207%3A15& amp;translation=ESV - Mt
7:15 ). These greedy wolves say much but deliver little. Yet, they
come with a high price. The price may even include your salvation. So,
if you are spending a lot of time and money following the celebrity
prophets of today, read these
ten
rock-solid witnesses from Scripture to help you measure an alleged
true prophet. Is he or she one of us sheep, or a greedy wolf making
merchandise of you ( http://ebible.com/query?utf=8✓&query=2%20Peter%20 2&translation=ESV - 2
Peter 2 )? Do
they look like sheep?
Do
they draw a crowd?
Do
they speak presumptuously?
Do
they lead you away from God’s Commands?
Do
they mimic the Spirit of God?
Do
they have false dreams and visions?
Do
they always have an “encouraging word?”
Do
they never seem to have an ariginal thought?
Do
they perform miracles, signs and wonders?
Do
they produce bad fruit? Kevin

MANY
WILL COME IN MY NAME, SAYING, “I AM HE”
http://ebible.com/query?utf=8✓&query=Luke%2021%3A 8&translation=ESV - And
He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in
My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’
Therefore do not go after them”
The
conventional interpretation of this Scripture is that many will come
claiming to be the Messiah and deceive many. Instead of blindly
accepting the analysis, we should uses our God-given logic and apply
it.
How
many people exist on the earth today that claim to be Jesus, the Son
of God? How many people have EVER existed who claimed to be Jesus?
Aside from a few nut-jobs – not many.
Jesus
said. “MANY will come in my name…..”
Did
these few loons deceive MANY? In the grand scheme of things, the
deceived were actually very few in number.
How
many people are alive today who claim Jesus is the Messiah, but are
deceiving multitudes, partially because of the signs and wonders that
are being performed? They are to numerous to count.
This
is not rocket science, folks. The Messiah forewarned us that the
false prophets would rise within our own ranks and proclaim that
Yeshua is the Son of God, doing miraculous signs and wonders, and
MANY will be deceived.

children, it is the last hour: and as you have heard that the
Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which
we know that it is the last hour. They went our from us, but they
were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued
with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that
none of them were of us.
THE
TESTIMONY OF JESUS – THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY
“The
testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” is one of many
tidbits of Scripture that has been tossed around by self-proclaimed
prophets without the knowledge of what it really means. It leaves the
unlearned with the inaccurate impression that, just as londg as Jesus
is being preached, the spirit of prophecy is present. Let’s take a
closer look at what the Scripture says about it.
http://ebible.com/query?utf=8✓&query=Revelati 1;n%2019%3A10&translation=ESV - And
I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “see that you
do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who
have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of
Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Usually
when people read the above Scripture, they do not read it
impartially; they read it through the lens they were taught to use.
They don’t ask themselves. “What is the ‘Testimony of Jesus?’”
In their minds, it is just a given that “The Testimony OF Jesus”
is synonymous with “The Testimony ABOUT Jesus.” This is wrong.
“Testimony
OF Jesus” IS Jesus’ testimony. It is what Jesus was saying
while He testified on the earth. What did Jesus testify?
The following Scripture gives us a good hint.
http://ebible.com/query?utf=8✓&query=John%207%3A7 &translation=ESV - The
world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that
its works are evil.
The
fact is that you and I can preach on Jesus all day long without the
spirit of prophecy being present. Look at all the false prophets and
the “Jesus” they preach. http://www.honorofkings.org/prophetic-masquerade - - Kevin
