Joel 2: 28-32 “And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
30 I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
32 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
whom the Lord calls. On December 11, 2016 I had a dream: I
was in a hotel room with my family. It was the middle of the day and
the sun turned dark. I could still see, but I understood the sun to be
dark. People went into a panic and I wondered whether this was a
temporary weather event so I searched the skies for another sign, and I
saw that the moon was 'cracked and broken'. I immediately understood
that this was a compelling event to signal the end discussed in Joel 2.
A hotel bellman came to the door, and told me and my family that it was
time for us to leave (as others panicked). The bellman was very calm
and confident, and said follow me. We followed him and a few other
helpers that were with him out of our hotel room and he led us into a
room which looked like an arcade to a place that I understood would be
safe, and would be a place different than where we were originally
living. As I passed through the arcade, I said that "our kids would
probably just be willing to sleep in here". We then were taken through a
doorway in through a 'mechanicals' hallway, and then I saw another
person in the hallway who happens to be the only person in my company
who is the exact rank as me. My understanding after seeking the Lord on this is this: There
will be a day that the sun goes dark, and the moon turns to blood. His
people will have His peace during this time, but the 'world' will go
into a panic, not knowing what to do. He will send his angels (bellman)
to guide us and protect us. Our children will be okay and cared for as
well (represented by the arcade). I believe the reason I saw a person
of 'same rank' as me was that there will be work to do and we will be
matched with those of the same ranking/role to do this work, and we will
be allowed to see 'behind the scenes' (or what is really going on)
which was represented by the hallway with the mechanicals in it. The
person of same rank's name is Esther, who represents the people who have
gone before the king on behalf of the people, and have found favor with
the king.
