Paul Cain Back in Ministry

LAKELAND, FL – Prophetic minister Paul Cain made an appearance at the Florida Healing Outpouring last night.  He recently returned to ministry after stepping out of the spotlight in 2004 when he confessed to moral failure and alcoholism. 

According to a statement he had posted on his website, "I have struggled with homosexuality for an extended period of time," Cain said in his written apology. "I have struggled with alcoholism for an extended period of time. I apologize for denying these matters of truth, rather than readily admitting them. I am ashamed of what I have done to hurt those close to me and for the pain I have caused those who have believed in my ministry."  Cain had said that Korean pastor Daniel Kim, of Destiny Training International in El Monte, California, would be one of a committee of leaders overseeing his restoration process.

Cain ministers the first Wednesday of every month at Jubilee Church in Camarillo, California and is scheduled to appear at an Elijah List conference in Iowa later this month.  He was born in 1929.  Cain was a prominent figure in the Voice of Healing Revivals in the late 40’s and early 50’s. Disenchanted with excesses of the movement, he disappeared from public view for about 30 years.
