Faith - Hold Fast!
http://khollandsblog.wordpress.com - http://khollandsblog.wordpress.com

A mighty oak tree comes from a little nut who holds its ground!

Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase
abundantly. -Job 8:7 NKJV

Do not despise small beginnings
Do not despair at the mighty mountain of obstacles before you.

Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad
valley; Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all flesh will see it
together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
-Isa 40:4-5

The mountain before you will be flattened by the LORD’s hand
For its not by power nor by might but by My Spirit
… declares the LORD.
The foundation has been laid
It will be completed and perfected
… by the author and finisher of your faith
Stand firm in full assurance on the foundation of your faith
The *substance of things hoped for,
… the evidence of things not seen
Hold fast! He who promised is faithful.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our
hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with
pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order
to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so
much the more as you see the Day approaching. -Heb 10:22-25

Zech 4:6-10 NLT   Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD
says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit,
says the LORD Almighty. Nothing, not even a mighty mountain, will stand
in Zerubbabel’s way; it will flatten out before him! Then Zerubbabel will
set the final stone of the Temple in place, and the people will shout: “May
God bless it! May God bless it”. Then another message came to me from
the LORD: “Zerubbabel is the one who laid the foundation of this Temple,
and he will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has
sent me. Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to
see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand. For these
seven lamps represent the eyes of the LORD that search all around the
world.”

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the *substance[5287] of things hoped
for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the foundation of our hope, it convinces us of the existence of
things we do not see!

2 Cor 5:7 NKJV   For we walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Cor 5:7 NIV   We live by faith, not by sight.

2 Cor 5:7 NLT    That is why we live by believing and not by seeing.

2 Cor 5:7 NMSG It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us
going.

Jesus described a person without faith as a person without
foundation.

Luke 6:49   But the one who hears my words and does not put
them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without
a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and
its destruction was complete.

Romans 10:17   So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the
word of Christ.

To build up your foundation of hope in Christ, hear His words AND put
them into practice! It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us
going, that keeps us walking by faith and not by sight!

Hold fast! He who promised is faithful.
Keep trusting in the unseen and walking by faith
Soon the working of My mighty hand will be seen
The performance of My word will be evident to all.

"I do NOT WAVER through unbelief regarding the promises of God. But i am strengthened in my FAITH and i give Glory to GOD that what HE said in HIS Word HE is FAITHFUL and JUST to perform It in my life and those i am prayin' for."(paraphrased). \o/ YEAH GOD! Found out faith does come by hearing(and obeying) HIS Word. Hey there Sister Karen, did you read the testimony Ron posted about the huge hand that CAME DOWN FROM THE SKY, seen by a group of people at an accident scene on a California freeway? WOW! Now, that was HIS MIGHTY HAND showing up & out, I tell ya. Signs, wonders, miracles are manifesting ALL around us, and for us & through us, ALL to reveal HIS GLORY!!! Luvs ya-thanks for this encouraging Word you brought forth here. What is ABBA FATHER doin' today? Gonna keep my eyes and hears attentive to HIS SPIRIT for sure.
