"LOOK TO THE ROCK FROM WHICH YOU WERE HEWN"

1 "Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the
LORD : Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn;2 look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was but one, and I blessed him and made him many.3 The LORD will surely comfort Zion
and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing. Is. 51
"I tell you that there has been rubble in the midst of the earthquake
in Haiti; but there is rubble all around the world. For many things
in your dreams and in your wanderings, have been lost amidst the
rubble of this world.
Many things have been buried. There are many things that you
have dreamed of happening. There are many things that you have
hoped for; but somehow they have been lost.
Speak to the stones amidst the rubble. Know that there have
been loved ones lost there, but also know that there are many other
people around the world who have been lost amidst the stones.
It is a time of deep grief for these people, but I tell you that the signs
are everywhere. They all are signposts that speak of the days that
we are living in. Remember that there is a bedrock. There is an
ancestry. There is a heritage that you can look back unto. You are
surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. These witnesses went
through many great trials and ordeals. They looked forward to that
heavenly home. They looked forward to that heavenly home whose
walls will never crumble. "

*Please remember us in prayer. My wife Carol, is now on oxygen; hopefully
not for too long. Also, my bank account was garnished---the entire funds
were taken out on Jan. 1. We're dealing with an attorney, and I know that
God is in control, but it certainly hasn't been easy. It seems that things sometimes come at us from all directions.
