Light Beyond The Darkness

By Ron McGatlin

Be strong and very courageous in the Lord, for your life in Jesus is not in vain. Your suffering and endurance as a child of God are not in vain. Though the darkness approaches and threatens to blot out all light – though suffering and persecution are seemingly without mercy – though those who you love and have sought to bless hate you and speak evil against you, there is a great day of brilliant light beyond the darkness.

A great harvest time is before us. Even during the great darkness there well be a great harvest of souls as many people turn to God with their whole hearts. Many religious people will desperately search for the reality of God in their lives. Beyond the darkness is the pure light of the kingdom of God.

We are seeds of the light to come beyond the darkness.

The resurrection life of Christ Jesus is the seed of the nature of God sown into our hearts. The life of Christ in us by the Spirit is the light of the world that overcomes darkness.

We are becoming fruitful sons and are being sown into this world. The seed must be pure. A life growing the seeds of self and the devil mingled with the seed of Christ will not plant the pure seed of God into the world and, therefore, must be purified. Suffering, persecution, and devastations are a part of our cleansing for purification. Chastening is for sons and is a good thing though not pleasant at the time of endurance (Heb 12:11).

Worldwide purification is preceded by the purification of a people of Christ prepared to be planted into the world to fully shine forth the glory of God during and after the worldwide dark season of dissolution. God will not fully drive out the enemy until He has a holy kingdom people to inherit the land. Sons of God are being purified and brought to maturity to eventually possess the land (this world).

God is not destroying His faithful people. However, those who seek to love God with their whole hearts will experience persecution and may experience chastening. He is beginning to bring dissolution to all the lofty works of the pride of man and all that the devil has planted in us. Mixture and impurities in people who are called by His name are now being purged, and the process will intensify rapidly. Cleansing judgment has already begun at the house of the Lord.

God is preparing a humble, holy, purified people filled with His life and His love, carriers of His power and wisdom – a people who walk in peace and joy in the midst of a world in great shaking. The presence of these humble maturing sons of God signals the coming of apocalyptic cataclysmic events bringing dissolution of the evil world system that lifts itself against God.

World Cleansing Work of God

John 3:16-18:  "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

God is destroying and will destroy all that He has not planted. The season is at hand for the beginning of the purification of the world. God is sending and will send holy angels to remove (dissolve) from the world all that the enemy and prideful flesh has established in this present world. The kingdom of God, New Jerusalem government of God cannot coexist with the lofty pride of man that exalts itself against God. The day (season) of earth cleansing judgment of God is before us. The great shaking and roaring fire of God is beginning and will prepare the way for the people in whom Christ abides to inherit the land (Mat 5:5).

This is not a single 24-hour day of the LORD. Rather it is a progressive, intensifying, and continuing world-cleansing work of God. Although, when the “day of the LORD” comes against a place or a people, it may be that in one day all is lost and nothing is as it was before.

Isa 2:11-12:  The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day of the LORD of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up; And it shall be brought low.

Isa 2:17-21:  The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; The LORD alone will be exalted in that day, But the idols He shall utterly abolish. They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver And his idols of gold, Which they made, each for himself to worship, To the moles and bats, To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.

Mal 4:1:  "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the LORD of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch.”

Mat 13:41-43:  "The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

We will need to lay aside our religious philosophies that seek to justify the wicked and accepts the vile and vicious as brethren.  Do not be joined with and do not seek to defend the perverted cursed sons of the evil one who hate the true God and his people. God is a God of mercy and a God of vengeance. Beyond the destruction of the wicked, the sons of God shall shine forth as the sun.

Mal 4:2-3:  But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this," Says the LORD of hosts.

The Vengeance of God

The vengeance of God is rooted in God’s love for the world and His people.

Let us be clear, persecution and chastening of the people of God are for purification of the people of God to holiness and not their annihilation.

However, the judgment of God in this “day of the LORD” is for the annihilation of the wicked ungodly people to cleanse the earth of the people who will NOT turn to God. Also let us be clear that this is the work of God and not the work of man.

The world is entering into the most turbulent season of the history of mankind. The roaring fire of God has come near the earth (2 Peter 3:7). Only those who are caught up in the Spirit – those who set their minds on things above – those who live and walk in the Spirit of Christ will survive the anguish of the abomination of desolation that will be seen standing strong in the sons (the temple) of false evil religions of the world (Mat 24:15-22).

Heb 10:30-31:  For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Paul writes of both the work of persecution of the godly and the vengeance of God against the wicked.

2 Th 1:3-5:  We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer.

2 Th 1:6:  since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

Thanks Ron for a timely and needed word of encouragement regarding these things.  The Lord is speaking much about all that you refer to in this posting.

Dear Ron,

The Seventh Milennium (now at page 102) is an imposant work! It is in accordance with 'thinking' I started to see myself by walking in faith, but fuelled enthusiasm to read the other writings as well. Especially the title of the first book is appealing to me.

Well, you have written a lot about the guidance by the holy spirit, all praise to that, for the glorious work of our Lord through you. I hear constantly directions or 'the voice', this is something I am still learning in, a lot is in progress. Well, the lord spoke for about a week in my spirit: 'And another king dead' 'And another king dead' 'And another king dead'. When I read about the 'little kings' in your book, this released praise and new revelation, bc the Lord told me beforehand!!

On the other hand, the 'new walk', more by faith than by sight, or growing walk by faith, is sometimes fatiguing in a sense. Praise the Lord for the following words:
