Submitting to The Call The Lord brought me to the book of Jonah. Jonah was an Old Testament prophet of God. The Lord told him to go the city of Ninevah to prophesy against it because of their great wickedness. Jonah refused to go and went his own way. As he walked out of Gods will he not only put himself in danger but he also put everyone that was with him in jeopardy. Jonah was miraculously saved by being swallowed by a large fish in which The Lord set up for him. This is what the Lord showed me. Some of you have a calling on your life that you are running from because the battle is fierce and you don't want to face what is required of you. You may be running because you are getting weary from the cares and the burdens that you are allowing the world to put on you. Others of you are running because of fear of man and what other people might think of you as you stand up for righteousness. Do not be afraid to confront the sin in people's lives. This may be the cause for the turmoil in your own life. The Lord showed me how imperative it is in this season who we associate with and what ministries we align ourselves with. As you follow His leading He will bring peace to those difficult situations and bring light into those dark places. Trust Him to provide all your needs to where He is taking you and you won't have to strive any longer. Don't run from the calling that He has for you. Don't fear what men will say to you or against you. Go in the direction that you know you are supposed to be going. Do not think that you may be ineffective and do not say that you are too weak because the Lord will not allow you to be tempted with more than you could handle. Jonah 1: 1 - 3 The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: "Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me." But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.
1 Corinthians 10: 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

This is good...I was thinking just a bit ago that I was not sure that I could do what I might be called to by the Lord...and then I kind of laughed at myself for thinking I could do anything anyway. Thanks Michelle, Don, Tina & Gayle. Too many Christians are backing down in fear when the enemy starts roaring. We are called to be warriers. It may get really tough at times but just like the world quotes: When the going gets tough the tough get going. Thats us. Don - I didnt watch it yet. Hope they got the archives up. They have them up at GodTV Elaine. They have it segmented, so it will take awhile for each segment within the one link, to load but be patient. IT IS WORTH IT.

I am listening to Graham Cookes CD's on "The Process of Maturity" and I also signed up for John Paul Jacksons School online - ISD Institute for Spiritual Developement. It is only $10 per month and you could watch the archives live or on demand.
