Ironlight

A sharpness where no lamppost walks.
That even stars are laid within.
The work of love that gave the cost.
Before the eyes of man began.

Peaceful handwork, all could see.
And that which most may never find.
The everlight that darkness flees.
That lived before the breath of time.

For rust can never fade the place.
Its beauty holds for every hand.
Where lives its purest heart of grace.
Not forged or bought in minds of man.

Peaceful handwork there to find.
For eyes of those that truly see.
The work of love laid in the light.
The darkness never can believe.

For where the lamppost has no say.
And stars tell every voice to ask.
The rust can never come to take.
The everlight that everlasts.

Oh, I meant to tell you Doug.  There is a light that looks exactly like this on the outside of my apartment building.  It is also next to a flag pole.  Usually, there is no flag present which allows the hanging mechanism to blow freely.

When it does this it sounds like a libery bell!  I have been feeling that it is a time of freedom for me in the natural as God is releasing me into my destiny.  I definately feel that "now" is the time!

Thank you for your poem again.  It encourages me that God has shined a light and my freedom will be evident for all to see!

God bless you!

Deborah
