Kingdom Authority and Power

By Ron McGatlin

We will endure and our souls prosper through the coming apocalyptic cataclysmic events on earth if we truly abide in Christ and He abides in us. Peace abides within our souls as we live by the Spirit and walk in the Spirit. Only that which is of the Spirit remains unshaken as God once more shakes all things that can be shaken. The spiritual kingdom of God cannot be shaken.

By His Spirit, God is speaking clear warnings and instructions that bring encouragement and assurance to His kingdom sons, even though they will endure chastening.

Strong chastening for sons is a great blessing of purification leading to mature purity and holiness in preparation for shining forth the kingdom of God on earth. The chastening of sons is very different from the severe judgment that cleanses the earth. Severe judgment is to purify the earth by cleansing it from the works of evil brought about by those who will not turn to God with their whole hearts.

There are those who are receiving His kingdom, and there are those who will not.

Hebrews 12: 25-29: See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.

People of God, we are not come to the mountain of severe authority of judgment that is coming upon the world. We are come to the spiritual heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God, the joyful gathering of the true church in the presence of God Himself, Christ Jesus, many holy angels, and spirits of mature sons of God. What an awesome life, abiding in Christ and gathering in the very presence of God in the ruling city of the kingdom of God on earth as we live by the Spirit and walk in the Spirit (Heb 12: 22-24).

The glorious kingdom life with God is well worth enduring the hardships of discipline from our Heavenly Father that prepares us to fully live in the kingdom of God as mature sons that are unveiled to shine forth restoring the kingdom of God on earth.

The Authority and Power to Establish the Kingdom on Earth

Christ abiding in His people by the Spirit is the same Christ Jesus who has been given all authority in heaven and on earth (Mat 28:18).

The Christ living in our bodies, where we once lived, is the same Christ through whom all things were created and for whom they were created – the Christ to whom all authority in heaven and on earth was given (Col 1: 15-16). This is the same Spirit that lives in us to finish the work of restoring the kingdoms of this world to the kingdoms of our God.

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

1 Cor 15: 24: Then the end will come, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father after He has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

God is preparing a people to carry the authority and the power of Christ to establish the kingdom on earth. Power without the authority of Christ would be useless. Only in the perfect alignment of becoming one with God in the Lord is the authority given to release the power of God to establish the kingdom on earth.

Who are the people of God who are being prepared and crossing over into the promised land of the kingdom of heaven on earth? What are they like?

They are ordinary people filled with an extraordinary obsession for God and His kingdom. They are obsessed beyond reason with the love of their God. They are those in whom there remains no place for the devil to lay his hand or attach his hooks. They know the voice of their Lord and will not move without the direction of His voice. They are becoming a mighty army of ordinary believers that moves in unison with the leading of the Spirit of Christ. They are a people without religious bondages free from pride and self-exaltation.

A people who are dangerous because of their simple and real love that flows through them to the world – a people who forever will cling to the promises of God and gladly give their lives to be in His presence and serve Him with all their hearts and strength. These are the kingdom people coming forth in our world. They are the workers, the teachers, the moms and dads, the soldiers of all ranks, and the leaders of tribes and nations.

They will not rule as lording over one another but will serve each other as unto God. They are the scientists, the plumbers, the builders, the farmers, doctors, nurses, waiters, cashiers, machinists, the mechanics, business leaders, government workers, and people from every walk of life and every part of the world. They are the worshipers of God doing the works of God on earth - anointed by His Spirit and filled with undeniable power and strength to do all the will of God.

The sons of the kingdom are with us now and will continue to grow in numbers and stature. All that have gone before us who sacrificed their lives and brought forth notable works of God bathed in the blood of martyrs will rejoice as the sons of God arise to bring forth the kingdom of God. The glory of God shall cover the earth from ocean to ocean, and from mountain to mountain there shall be none who do not know of the glory of our Lord.

We are well past the beginning, and the work lies ahead of us. Anyone having put their hand to the plow shall not turn back. The plowing must continue. However, the planting has already begun, and the harvest is before us and shall not be stopped. At the same time the plowman is plowing and the sower is sowing, the harvester is harvesting (Amos 9:13).

The mustard seed of the kingdom has been planted. The yeast is in the dough, and its spreading will not be stopped. Through the dark night the kingdom will spread, and through the fire of the oven, the loaf will be prepared a sweet aroma to our Lord. And we shall rule and reign with Him in the morning of His brightness shining forth from His Body and glorious Bride filling the world with His great peace and full joy in the glorious union of pure worship of our King of Glory. Amen and Amen.

Keep on pursuing love. It never fails
and His kingdom never ends.

Oh what a glorious word. Weymouth translation says,
Dismiss your fears, little flock: your Father finds a
pleasure in giving you the Kingdom.Praise God he is so
good to us.

Amen Karen, It is interesting that He said "little flock". I wonder why that terminology was used. Do you have some idea on why it is said like that?

Thanks for asking Ron.I believe that he said little
flock because it is his remnant and the church has one
head, and that is Christ Jesus. It has one headquarters, and
that headquarters is his throne.Religion wants people
under the headship of man.
He is going to give his Kingdom to the few;his little
flock, those who are led by the head,Christ the Holy
Spirit;not man.
I am reading your book Kingdom Growth Guides. Will you
please pray that Father God will illuminate my
understanding more on his Kingdom. THank you and God
Bless.
