1. What is the real delight of your heart and mine?

By Ron McGatlin

Our destiny is wrapped up in, and in large part determined by, the real answer to this question. In our personal lives our heart affection is a predominant factor in determining our destiny. Our lives are greatly affected and changed by what we delight in within our hearts. The lives of our immediate family are greatly impacted by the affections of our hearts as well. Communities, nations, and the world are affected to a lesser degree by whatever is in our hearts. However, all are affected and altered to some degree by the abundance of what fills each and every person’s heart.

Col 3:2: Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

You might want to pause and think about it for a moment. What do you really delight in, what do you live for, what gives you excitement in life, what really is the delight of your heart? What is it that you truly think about? We are not talking about what you feel that you should delight in and not even your good intentions. We are talking about what really does turn you on? What do you really think about? What excites you? Selah.

Mat 6:21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

That which fills the abundance of our hearts becomes what we say and do. What we think and speak soon becomes our actions, and our actions impact our personal lives and the world around us. The corporate life condition of mankind and the world is changed by what mankind believes and releases into the world. Either good or evil abounds in the world according to which is in the heart of man and released out into the world. Mankind can only release that which is abiding in his heart.

Prov 23:7: For as he thinks in his heart, so is he:

Mat 12:34: … for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

This is one of the universal and foundational principles of life. It is one of the deeper hidden mysteries that are hidden in the word of God. There are many more foundational deep hidden mysteries of God’s wisdom recorded in the Bible to guide us in this life. Bringing our lives into full alignment with these key mysteries of God’s wisdom is the basis for mature kingdom of God living as mature sons of God.

1Cor 2:7: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Power to Change

Literally the world can be changed by what is in the hearts of the people.Death and life are in the power of what man says (Prov 18:21). Healing or devastation in the world is determined by what is in the hearts of the people of the world. Prosperity or poverty of life is within the hearts of the people. Peace or war is within the realm of what mankind believes and seeks after in life.

Man seeks after that in which his heart delights – that for which he has affection. Your life and mine can be changed by changing that in which we delight – that for which we have affection and therefore seek.

The desires of the heart determine the appetites of the soul. The appetites of our souls determine the affections of our hearts the same as the appetite of our body determines the food we delight in and for which we have affection. We will seek after the food for which we have affection.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

What I am speaking of is one of the most powerful hidden mysteries – one of the keys to the kingdom of God. Properly employed by God’s people, this wisdom can change the world. However, mankind has laid down this powerful weapon and allowed the enemy to steal it and use it against us.

This one mystery is paramount in the devastation of the nation in which I live and much of the rest of the world. The employment of this key mystery by the hands of the enemy has created a giant army much like the giant that the young man David faced and killed with the giants own sword. David’s slingshot only stunned the giant. David actually killed the giant by cutting of his head with the giant’s own sword.

This giant and the army of the enemy will be destroyed with the same weapon that he has used to bring to a standstill much of the work of the kingdom of God in America and across much of this world.

Mat 6:19: And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven:

AMERICA AND THE WORLD ARE NOT DEFEATED! THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT DEFEATED!

We have been brought to a standoff with an army of giants who have stolen a key weapon from the kingdom of God and are using this mighty sword to bring us to a standstill. In effect we have allowed this to happen by laying down the mighty sword that the enemy then stole and has used against us. Like David we must take back the sword and cut off the head of the giant who stands against the army of God.

A KEY TO THIS HIDDEN MYSTERY

HUMAN BEINGS DEVELOP AN APPETITE FOR WHAT THEY ARE FED.

In the natural, a child will develop an appetite and desire for that which he or she has been fed. A child will seek after that for which he or she has developed a taste.

I once visited an old fashioned orphanage in Texas. The place was in a state of change. It had operated for many years as a self-sufficient institutional type facility. They raised almost all their own food including fruits, vegetables, dairy products, poultry products, beef, and pork. Everything was produced on the farm. The children growing up there loved all the vegetables and other fresh foods. They did not just eat them because they were made to; they truly enjoyed the food. Most of them had never seen or eaten potato chips and carbonated drinks and many other junk type foods. The kids growing up there helped with the farming and the chores both outside and in the kitchen. They were indeed a healthy bunch of kids that knew how to be responsible. Some new people took over the control of the orphanage. The new people believed that the children were abused because they had never had junk type food and because they had to work doing chores and helping with the farming. The farm was soon shut down, and the children’s appetites for natural foods and for working began to change. Instead of enjoying a big slice of fresh tomato or a piece of fresh fruit for a snack, they now wanted a candy bar or a soda pop.

Children or young people who have been fed on spiritual revival worshiping in the presence of God desire it far above worldly games and shallow entertainment. The people who truly experience God will develop an appetite for more of Him. Adults and children will greatly desire the things of the life of God.

People who grow up without responsibility and without worshiping God in His presence will have no appetite for these things. Those who grow up only playing worldly games and fleshly exciting entertainment develop a taste for it instead of the presence of God. People who spend time viewing violent and sexually explicit video material will develop a taste for it.

What we see and hear, what we experience becomes thoughts that are as seeds planted into our hearts that will grow into the desires of our hearts (Phil 4:4-9). The thoughts, beliefs, and desires of our hearts are made of what we have received, what we have seen and heard. What we have been taught or experienced will become what we believe. What we believe will become what we speak from the heart with our mouths into the world.

Mark 9:23: Jesus said unto him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.

We cannot change our actions or who we are by trying hard. We will change by what we feed upon, what we look upon, and what we hear over time will change our thoughts that will change our beliefs that will change how we feel and what we do. Who we are is changed by what we listen to or watch, what we feed upon.

The most powerful words and thoughts are the deep hidden mysteries of the wisdom of God.Hearing and believing the Word, personally experiencing Christ Jesus in the presence of God by the Holy Spirit is the most powerful experience of life to change us and change the world. Probably everyone reading this understands some of the hidden wisdom of God. At the same time, probably all of us have not heard or understood all of the hidden mysteries of God’s wisdom that are available to us in this day.

We truly need to come together in the presence of God and share what each of us has received of the hidden wisdom of God.

The online book called the “Kingdom Growth Guides” is designed to introduce many of the hidden mysteries of the wisdom of God that can change us to change the world. Please pray about taking the time to search out the wealth of godly wisdom discovered over a lifetime of walking with God. http://archive.openheaven.com/bookstore/downloads/KingdomGrowthG uides.pdf - in PDF format.

2. The Victory of Valor – Fearless Faith

Bobby Conner

Prophetic word released by Bobby Conner on June 25, 2013:

Heaven is Declaring "Awake, Awake!"

The entire world is poised for swift, radical change. It is imperative that the Church embrace and fully receive a bold anointing. This anointing will aid us in formulating preparations for influencing our culture. We are to be catalysts of extreme changes. We are to function as salt and light to a sin-darkened world (see Matthew 5:13).

The Spirit of God is calling forth dread champions; this is not a time for passive, non-committed Christianity. We are called to become the bold, passionate, and powerful end-time army that confronts compromise and raises the standard ever higher. In this season, the Spirit of the Lord is releasing true confidence to stand strong (see Joshua 1:7-9).

We are in a time of swift advancement and acceleration. The Spirit of God will set things in order, bringing about divine purpose. A "fullness-of-time" moment has come in the Spirit realm. Heaven is declaring "awake, awake!" It is time for advancement. Heaven's host stands ready to move, aiding all who seek to establish the King in His Kingdom (see Hebrews 1:14). Deeper insight about the throne of God and the God of the throne will be revealed during this time period.

The Spirit of the Lord is calling for the Lord's army to arise, taking hold of the Kingdom with true spiritual power and force. Remember, the Lord stated that forceful saints would take the Kingdom of Heaven. "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force" (Matthew 11:12 NASB).

It is not by might or by our human spirits, but only by the Spirit of the Lord. The Scripture declares it: "Then He said to me: 'This is the word of the LORD saying, "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the LORD of hosts'" (Zechariah 4:6 NASB).

The CloudBattles will increase; however, the victories will be overwhelming. The Body of Christ will begin to experience awesome breakthroughs in unity and restoration, resulting in displays of grace and power. I am excited for the fulfillment of the words of Psalm 133:

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon coming down upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing – life forever (Psalm 133:1-3 NASB).

We must never confuse our abilities with God's anointing. We are mighty, not in our own strength, but in the Lord's power and might. It is only by the power of God's Spirit that we are enabled to overcome the schemes of the enemy. Truly we are called into the Kingdom of God for such a time as this.

Bold, Brave, and Extremely Courageous

These are exciting days of conquest and confrontation, of building and battling. We stand at the very threshold of the greatest revival the world has ever seen. The foe is poised, doing all he can to stop this coming move of God. Now is the time for us to stand strong and straight and be counted for righteousness sake. The Lord has issued an ultimate command. It is unmistakably clear. As followers of Christ, we are to be bold, brave, and extremely courageous. As the Scripture declares in the Book of Joshua:

Now it came about after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' servant, saying, "Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel. Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory. No man will be able to stand before you... (Joshua 1:1-5 NASB).

Not only has Almighty God called us to be brave and courageous, but He has also commissioned us for these important days. We need to be prepared for conquest that brings about a swift and sure change. God's plan for His people is the plan of victory, not defeat (see Jeremiah 29:11). We are called and commissioned to be overcomers (see Romans 8:37). Though this may seem intimidating to some, the reality is that deep within the soul of every true Christian beats the heart of an overcomer. The word overcomer suggests a victory after a hard struggle. We are to be strong and willing warriors.

Fragrance of RainNow is the time for the troops of the Lord to volunteer willingly (see Psalm 110:3). We are to become history-makers and world-changers. God has determined the exact time of our births. Truly, each one of us is in the Kingdom for such a time as this (see Esther 4:14). We must never forget that the Kingdom is in us for such a time as this. Think about it. We had absolutely nothing to do with the timing of our births. It's God's plan. Looking forward to this day, He determined that we would be great tools in His hands to fashion the Kingdom of God.

God has confidence in us. It is Him working in us, both to will and to do His good pleasure (see Philippians 2:13). And as we discover in Luke 12:32, the Father's good pleasure is to give us the power of His Kingdom. These are decisive days of destiny, when God is calling each of us to arise and take our stand for righteousness. We must respond, allowing the Holy Spirit to empower and equip us for lives filled and overflowing with divine power and victorious valor (see 1 John 4:4).

By John Paul Jackson

In Matthew 13, the disciples asked Jesus why He spoke to the crowds in parables. He answered, “It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”

That remains true today. It has been given to us to know His mysteries. You and I have the ability and the opportunity to understand God in ways the world cannot understand Him. However, more often than not, many of us think, I can’t hear God that well. Maybe once in a while, I will have a dream that seems to be from Him or I think He’s speaking to me, but I don’t know. The mysteries of the Kingdom—pretty sure I don’t understand anything.

But our lack of confidence doesn’t change what Jesus said: “It has been given to you to know the mysteries.”

The Deep Things of God

All revelation comes through the Holy Spirit, who “searches all things, yes, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10). That is His role. He knows the things of God because He is the Spirit of God, and He takes what He knows and reveals it to us. The greater the measure of the Holy Spirit within us, the more we will know Him and the more He can show us even the things to come:

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
—John 16:13

Revelation of Kingdom mysteries comes through the Holy Spirit. Only by His grace are we able to have any insight and understanding into the mysteries of who He is and what He does for us. The apostle Paul talked about the mystery that had been “made known” to him (Ephesians 3:3), yet it is clear that Paul still considered the “known mystery” quite mysterious at different levels.

He declared in Romans 11:33:

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!”

It “has been given” to us to understand the mysteries, yet Paul grasped the fact that anytime God reveals Himself, He is giving us only a sliver of His revelation. He is sharing with us a very small point of His knowledge, a scrap of His omniscience, a pinprick of who He is. There is always more than what we know—more of Him, more of His understanding, more of His heart for the world, more of His strength and power.

The mysteries of the Kingdom are ours, yet all we have on this earth is a sliver of understanding. We are lifelong students of the ways of God; trouble starts when we think we have graduated! With God, there is always more.

The one little key to this deeper knowing is relationship. It requires relationship—the consistent pursuit to know more about Him.

Ron, I read the news headlines before reading your article and the others.  I posted a message on the article about how the enemy has redefined marriage by our Supreme Court.  The post demonstrates how the Holy Spirit is moving in harmony among His people.  You wrote about the keys of the kingdom and that is how He was directing me.  Praise be to His Name forever and ever!!  What happened by the Court should be a challenge for us, as believers in Christ Jesus, to rise up.  It is a call to war in the spirit against the powers that be according to Ephesians 6.  Hallelujah!!  We KNOW the outcome has already been decided by the blood of Jesus Christ, now in that authority of His blood, our testimony, and not loving our lives unto death, we HAVE overcome.  Hallelujah!!

So grateful for your web site to keep in touch with those who pressing in to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  God bless all of you!!!!!!

Looking and loving His appearing,

Jo Berres
