MINISTRY UPDATE: Here’s a brief report from a church and a ministry team near my hometown of Victoria BC. It is part of an ongoing outpouring of salvation and the miraculous that is happening at a Greyhound bus station next to Eagle Mountain Church here on Vancouver Island. Thus far there have been 1173 people born again in a period of two years. This number includes people from over 46 nations!
The Kingdom continues to advance.
What a joyous occasion yesterday as four more people received Christ
At about 1:00 PM a man named Charles came into the Bus Station-Church building area directly from rehab. The ministry team shared the gospel with him. He willingly gave his life to Jesus. The team then laid their hands on him to pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and, suddenly, unexpectedly prophesy broke out. The power of God hit him. He was almost instantly filled and baptised in the Holy Spirit. Then the power of God hit the whole ministry team. They couldn’t contain the joy. The whole team burst out with laughter and incredible joy! Then Charles, the newly saved man, broke out in joyous laughter also. What a moment! Then another man, John, heard the laughter from outside the building. His curiosity was aroused so he entered the building searching for the source of the laughter. He looked around and with amazement declared "this is a church! What on earth is happening?”
A team member said “yeah it is a church but unlike any church you’ve probably ever seen. Jesus is happening. We’re celebrating Him, want some?” John replied “yeah do I ever!” The love and power of God hit him. He then asked to be born again also declaring, “I want the whole package!” Right there on the spot he was born again! Then he said, “I have a problem with my foot so the team asked Charles, the first man, to minister healing to John’s foot. While Charles was healing John, his wife Anna and daughter Shelly entered the building, searching for him. After hearing and seeing all the wonderful things that were happening,they both eagerly asked to receive Jesus as well.
There it is. Four wonderful people born again and it all happened in a time frame of 20 minutes. Jesus is absolutely wonderful. Many others were prayed for and say they will be watching on Livestream! ...what a day! Thank you Lord for the absolute joy of your glorious Gospel.
