http://www.assistnews.net/google_map.asp?place=SOFIA, BULGARIA - SOFIA, BULGARIA (ANS) -- Dr. Gilbert Chae, Chairman of the World Christian Doctors Network (WCDN), delivered an extraordinary case study before some 240 Christian doctors and medical professionals from 38 countries at a unique conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, in which he said that some 21 women from his church, who were at “high risk” for Down’s syndrome, gave birth to “normal babies” after receiving prayer.

Dr. Gilbert Chae speaking

Dr. Chae, who is based at the Yonsei Jaeil Clinic, Seoul, South Korea, began his talk at the 11th Annual World Christian Doctors Network Conference, who met to “Glorify the Great Physician” and discuss “Medicine, Science and Spirituality,” began his presentation by explaining about Down’s syndrome.

“A normal human has the composition of human DNA that has 23 pairs,” he said. “In cases of Down’s syndrome, there is one more chromosome in the 21st. People with Down’s syndrome grow up slowly. Their nose is low. The middle of the forehead is wide, and the face is round, and their intelligence level is low.

“Those who have Down’s syndrome will live with it their whole life. If a pregnant woman finds out that her baby belongs to the Down’s syndrome high risk group, how would she feel? Even if she is fearless, she must be devastated.”

The Korean doctor, who attends the huge Manmin Central Church in Seoul, said that “so many people" in the church, received the diagnosis of Down’s syndrome high risk group, but "they gave birth to normal babies" after being prayed for by Rev. Jaerock Lee, the senior pastor, and founder of WCDN.

“A QUAD test is done in the fourth month of the pregnancy to check the innate abnormalities of the fetus, and it has the 70-80% of accuracy," he said. "Any result of a QUAD test that is below 270 falls into the Down’s syndrome high risk group. As numbers are lower, the risk is higher.

“To my regret, I could not get their medical records except for eight children, because their healing took place long time ago. The first child’s QUAD test result was 1:60 (one to sixty), belonging to very high risk group. The second child was 1:216. The third child was 1:100. The fourth child was 1:41, a very high risk group. The fifth child was 1:100. The sixth child was 1:69. The seventh child was 1:33. This is the highest so far and the eighth child was 1:267.

“Of course, there are other thorough exams like amniocentesis, amnioscopy, high resolution ultra sound, but they might have their own dangers and false negativity. They also cost very much. But many members of Manmin Central Church have firm faith that even Down’s syndrome can be healed by receiving prayer from Rev. Jaerock Lee, and they did not take further exams, but just received his prayer.

“All the couples that received prayer gave birth to a normal baby. God is almighty. He can change the abnormality of zillions of chromosomes in a moment. I have an interesting case supporting this kind of case.

“This couple had their QUAD test in the fourth month of the pregnancy. The result was 1:267, which was Down’s syndrome positive. They looked back at their life, and they repented of quarreling with each other and getting angry at others and breaking peace. Then they received prayer from Rev. Jaerock Lee. They did the same test again the next day, and the result was 1:1810. It turned negative just in one day.”

He added, “God is a good God who answers His children with good things only if they repent from their heart and ask with faith. I give all glory to God the Father who healed them, and I also give thanks to Rev. Jaerock Lee for praying for them.”

Each of these medical professionals, who gathered from May 9-10, 2014, at venue in the city, believes that “spiritual healing” is an answer to sickness in the 21st Century. They say that medicine alone cannot deal with some of today’s worst illnesses. But they also believe that miracles should be “documented” and various respected doctors presented actual case studies of miracles with the medical evidence to back them up, which was shown on a large screen.
