Boko Haram strikes again - nearly 100 more Christians killed by Muslims in Nigeria

Nigeria (MNN) — Although Nigeria’s military has pushed Boko Haram from many areas it previously controlled, it hasn’t been able to stop the terrorists’ attacks, reports https://www.mnnonline.org/mission_groups/voice-of- the-martyrs-canada/ - The Voice of the Martyrs Canada (VOMC).

In recent weeks, Boko Haram has killed nearly 100 people in attacks stretching from Maiduguri to Borno State to Madagali in Adamawa State, Nigeria. Additionally, the terrorist group continues to carry out suicide bombings and raids not just in Nigeria, but also in the neighboring countries of Cameroon, Chad, and Niger. And now, it’s death toll is well over 15,000 people, not counting the many others who are held captive.

Furthermore, Boko Haram purposely targets Christians in Nigeria and its surrounding countries. Nigeria has one of the highest rankings for persecution, listing at #12 on the https://www.opendoorsusa.org/christian-persecution/worl d-watch-list/ - World Watch List (WWL). The WWL is a ranking of the top 50 countries, by Open Doors USA, where Christians face the most severe persecution for their faith.

However, despite Boko Haram’s terrors, Nigeria’s military has been able to free hundreds of its captives. But there are still many others awaiting their day for liberation, such as the Chibok schoolgirls.
