Awake to Resurrection
Power!
 Dream: Awake! I want to share with you a very anointed dream I had on Rosh Hashanah. As I was sleeping God carried me into a dream where I was brought to a funeral for a young girl who had prematurely died. In the dream I began to weep as two men rehearsed to me her tragic death. It was so heartbreaking that I left before the funeral started and went back to my room to mourn her death. As I was weeping I heard a voice say, "She is not dead; she is only asleep!" I changed my clothes and made my way to the funeral with the purpose of praying for the dead to be raised. "And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you." Romans 8:11 One thing that was quite interesting about my wardrobe was that I was wearing a pair of unusual looking glasses. These glasses brought great clarity to my sight, in fact it was crystal clear! When I arrived the funeral was over, but I was allowed to go in and view the body. When I enter the room I discovered two other bodies who were also laying with sheets over them. I walked over to them and simply said, "Awake!" Instantly the two people stood up and said, "We weren't dead, but only asleep!" In the dream I felt so relieved that they had only been sleeping and not actually dead, but the young girl was clearly dead in her casket. Laying hands on her cold, lifeless body, I started to weep again. I prayed for the Spirit and power of resurrection to come upon her. Resurrection Power I was reminded of a story in the book of Mark where Jesus prayed for a young girl who was pronounced dead. He took her by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum!" which means "Little girl, I say to you, get up!" Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old; see Mark 5:41-42). I took her by the hand, and the power of God moved like electricity through me and she came back to life. We walked out of the funeral hall; those who were outside began to cry tears of joy as she was resurrected. I believe God is releasing the earth to a place of fresh Awakening and Resurrection Power! He's giving us faith to raise and awaken those who are spiritually and even physically dead. I believe God is giving us the Body of Christ a new framework to see more clearly that some are not dead, but simply asleep. For some of you, God is awakening and resurrecting dead and dying dreams and visions you have had in your past. You felt that the things that you had been called to do were dead and you were about to bury them in the past, but God is awaking them again. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalm 30:5 You had a season of weeping, but in this new year God is giving you a resurrection. I also believe this will be a time of natural resurrections from the dead like we have never seen in the earth. A time of a powerful displays of resurrection glory. Today, I decree and declare that this resurrection power will come upon you and a fresh awakening will touch your spirit today. Receive this now in Jesus name! Charles and Brynn Shamp, President and
