Can satan send you bad dreams? I've had some horrible dreams, and I'm not very knowledgeable in that area. All these dreams started in 2004 shortly after i had a conversion experience..
Some still haunt me to this day...

The answer is YES!! Satan can even come to us in dreams. When you said that the bad dreams came to you "shortly after conversion" is so like satan. When we first are saved or filled with the Holy Spirit then satan comes to confuse us or tempt us. (He comes in seasons) Resist the devil and he will flee.
Father in the name of Jesus those dreams that haunt Brother Dean, send the Holy Spirit to comfort him and give him peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus mighty name!!

Dean,
A good example of satan's dreams would be nightmares. Fear never comes from God!

Dean,
What you can do that may help with this is to read the Bible just before falling asleep. Also, try meditating on Philippians 3:13-14 and also 2 Corinthians 5:17.
As you renew your mind to the Scriptures (Romans 12:1-2), there's no room for satan to enter in. However, another thing you'll probably need to do if you haven't done it already is to ask the Lord to reveal to you if there's anything in your house that's allowing the devil entrance.
When I was first saved, I came out of some pretty heavy stuff. I'd lived with a man who had been a criminal and possibly also a warlock (male witch). He died from a drug overdose and I found him dead on our bathroom floor. I had to go through all of my belongings to see if there was anything of his (occult, etc) that was left behind and then remove it from my belongings.
Since that man was also a thief, I felt a need to get rid of things that had been stolen...and also other things we'd jointly owned.
Hope this helps.
With His love,
Ann
