I know that the Bible says that women should submit to their husbands in the Lord. I have been abused with this scripture and I know that a lot of other women have been abused by this scripture. Some husbands use this verse to get their way but they forget the other scriptures to love their wives as themselves.
But where does this apply to unmarried woman who isn't married? Do I really have to submit to someone as long as I submit to God and the Bible?

For those of us who are unmarried, that verse doesn't apply. We have no husband to submit to.
