Outpouring In The North - Bob Brasset

We, Sue and I, were in Manning, Alberta Canada ,about 200 miles from the Arctic Circle. At midnight it was still bright outside. The sun rose again around 3 AM. It was glorious.

Jesus showed up. His Glory came. People were smitten -struck by His presence. Almost every person that came forward for healing received what they came for. Here is a list of some of the healing. Arthritis – many were instant and miraculous with pain and swelling and chipped bones healed.

Carpal tunnel syndrome – again, dramatic and instant.

Diabetes – the blood sugar reading immediately cut nearly in half.

Deafness – a lady profoundly deaf from birth, received a measure of healing with more to come.

Eyesight –some now seeing and reading without glasses.

Club foot – a child had been born with a club foot and after prayer there was continued improvement

Stomach difficulties, hiatus hernia, etc

Allergies , Asthma Severe sinus cavity infection and dizzy spells healed.

Jaw healed and the list goes on. but you get the picture.

Highlights of the trip were the warmth, the hospitality and the sold out commitment of these dear people to Christ and to revival. Another highlight was the involvement of the children – two little girls in particular. Hayley and Hunter.

These darling children came forward and were healed. One had a club foot, the other had an eye impairment and needed glasses. Both were healed immediately. Then with a little encouragement from us, each of the girls, who were sisters, with childlike simplicity stretched forth their hands. As they did, people were immediately smitten by God’s power. The power of God was visibly and undeniably surging through peoples bodies. Every one they ministered to was healed. What was happening to, with and through these precious, innocent sisters is something that cannot be faked or worked up.

A REVIVAL ATMOSPHERE

Being there in Manning, Alberta at Northern Revival Church was like being on Holy Ground. It was a releasing and re-digging of a recent well of Glory.

Pastor Brent recounted to me personally about the outpouring that took place there in 1995 and 1996 that lasted about 20 months. God told several people to plant a new church. On December 15, 1994 at the first or second service, the power of God came and didn’t leave for 20 months. It just grew stronger It began when the keyboardist fell over. Then the Presence came. People described it as tangible and as a cloud of the Lord’s presence. People could hardly move because of the thick glory. This continued for 1 1/2 to 2 years.

God’s Glory Cloud became visible at the front of the sanctuary. For months every unbeliever that entered the building would be smitten to the ground and crawl to the front weeping and then would get saved, no exceptions. Drunk partyers would wander in, be smitten to the ground and rise up hours later, saved, sober and healed. This same glory and revival atmosphere was present in all their home meeting for over a year. Christians would visit the meetings for the first time, see the glory and begin to dance and watch as, time after time, angels would appear around the perimeter of the church. There seemed to be no leader of the meetings but the Holy Spirit would invisibility orchestrate each gathering. After two years, the intensity of the manifestations and the Glory Cloud seemed to subside, but the love, the character, the sweetness of the presence of Jesus remains among that congregation. It was truly a privilege for Sue and I to minister in the rarefied atmosphere of Revival and passionate holiness of these precious people.
