Dear Friend,

What if it was your 3-year-old child with an intense fever, and the hospital had no drugs that could help? You plead for them to do something. Anything. They send you to another clinic 6 miles away. But it's too late. Within hours, your child's last spark of life fades.

Unfortunately, this really happened to Elijah Mbaja Opande and his 3-year-old son, Paul, in Kenya.

Elijah explains, "It hurt even more that the place where I thought I would find help — the hospital — was not in a position to meet a very basic need."

Poverty holds a powerful grip in Africa, making stories of children dying from lack of medicine and supplies all too common. But you can help.

Thanks to donations from leading pharmaceutical companies, your gift will multiply 10X in impact to deliver medicine and supplies, and provide healthcare that helps save children's lives.

Wycliffe Obiero, a nurse-in-charge at a small dispensary in Kisumu East that serves 23,000 people, explains that shelves are virtually empty. "We even lack malaria drugs. Other times we have no IV fluids. Many times other essential drugs such as Amoxicillin, drugs for diarrhea and pneumonia are missing." Wycliffe goes on to say, "It is always my prayer that the patient does not die. If they did, I will have lost the war of making this world a better place."

Your gift today will help ensure that medicine and healthcare are there for untold thousands of children around the world. Because children like 3-year-old Paul shouldn't have to die in their father's arms at a hospital with poor healthcare and empty shelves.

Thank you for helping to keep His children healthy.

God bless you,

/s/ Rich Stearns

P.S. No child should die for lack of basic essentials. Any amount you send will multiply 10X in impact to provide medicine, supplies, and healthcare to help them survive.
