On Tuesday, Kenyan Security Forces conducted "mopping up" operations at the mall, while President Kenyatta addressed the public, declaring three days of national mourning to begin on Wednesday.
There were 61 confirmed civilian deaths, and six soldiers killed, along with some 175 others who were wounded in the horrific attack, which began on Saturday.

"These cowards will meet justice, as will their accomplices and patrons, wherever they are," he added.
The Somali Islamist group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack. It has still not been confirmed whether some of the attackers were British and American nationals, but forensic experts were "carrying out tests to ascertain their nationalities," according to the BBC News report.
Five of the attackers were said to have been killed by troops, and 11 suspects were in custody, according to President Kenyatta.
