More than 470 people have been killed since the 200 girls were abducted nearly two months ago.
(Nigeria)—Nigeria's Chief of Defense Staff Alex Badeh has said it now knows where Boko Haram terrorists are holding the schoolgirls they kidnapped last month. (Photo via CBN News)
"The good news for the parents of the girls is that we know where they are," said Badeh, "but we cannot come and tell you military secrets. Just leave us alone. We are working. We will get the girls back."
As to how they plan on rescuing the girls now that they know their whereabouts, the Chief of Defense indicated force would not be an option. "Nobody should come and say the Nigerian military does not know what it is doing. We can't go and kill our girls in the name of trying to get them back." (Photo via CBN News)
Still, even though Pentagon officials have yet to confirm Badeh's claims that the girls have been found, military and intelligence personnel from the US, UK, and France are on the ground in Nigeria continuing in the search and rescue operation.
