During my a.m. prayer time this morning (1.12.16) I distinctly heard the Spirit of the LORD say, "Pray for America."  To all intercessors, Cry Aloud and Spare NOT!  America is in trouble.  We must pray for divine protection NOW!  There's an urgency in the air that can be diverted or reduced in prayer.

God bless you, Kimberly.  I'm not sure if you heard about the terrorists threats released TODAY.   It provides a more strategic prayer focus.   Here's the link Homeland Terrorist Attack.

On January 9th ....this year a few days ago when I was
waking up I heard the words Mass Murder...and I starting
praying against all plots everywhere.....and I continue to
pray daily.....except I also heard pray that such plots are
foiled...and it didn't occur to me until today the foiled
might mean France since I think foiled is a word in
fencing...saber..foil...anyway ...praying for America is
always a prayer..thanks for sharing.....God Bless America
and everyone in it...thank you Jesus

Rose, you are on target in what you heard and in your prayer life.
This is not to cause fear because God has not given us the spirit of
fear but of power and love and a SOUND mind; however, another
prominent prophet mentioned "mass murder" on American soil. I
bless God for him for God gives us gifts without repentance but I
questioned why he did not call for prayer? There is power in prayer
and we must not assume that only watchmen, prophets, and
intercessors can pray... we who believe can ask for God's mercy. I
believe what happened in France was designed to take more lives...
BUT GOD! Do keep watching, praying, and sharing... there are those
like myself, who read, hear, and pray. God bless you!

A few weeks after 9/11 I was praying for God to bless
America all the time. I was driving and pulled into a
left hand turn lane. There were two lanes turning
left. I was praying that God wold bless America. A
car pulled into the lane next to me and it's bass was
so loud. My car was vibrating and my ear drums were
vibrating. I said "man, that hurts my ears" and God
said "it hurts mine too'. That surprised me so then I
listened to the words of this rap song. The words
were horrible. Something to the effect that he was
going to rape the B------ until they screamed. .
.because he was so well endowed, etc. And then God
said "Rita, how can I bless that?" and I said you['re
right God. So then I changed my prayer to God bless
all that He could. and to bless his children and those
who will become his children. So I still find myself
asking God to bless America, but bless and protect His
children also.

I do pray for mercy over judgement for America. I remind
Him that he spared a town when Abraham said "If there
are only 50 righteous people in that town, surely you
would not destroy it", etc, etc. I also pray that all
evil will come to the light and be exposed and stopped.

Rita, what is interesting about what you wrote is the words of the
song are happening now with the influx of male refugees. These
men will not have employment opportunities to support anyone
including themselves; therefore, things will get much worse. This
is why we MUST call on God NOW! America is being invaded by a
foreign nation just as in the biblical days of old. The removal of
God is only a reflection of the hearts of humankind. We live in
troubled times... BUT GOD! Those who know Him will be sought
out! Those who do not know Him will not have anything to save
them when things get worse, this is why mercy is needed. The
harvest is great but the laborers are few.

Believers MUST not compromise their beliefs or the word of God for
heaven and earth will pass away but God's WORD will stand forever.
And I truly, truly believe the only reason total chaos has not come
is because there are those who must yet come into the Kingdom
AND, most importantly because God's remnant are here praying,
fasting, and crying out to God for mercy! The name of the LORD is
a strong tower, the righteous run to it and they are safe! Prayer is
portable, one doesn't have to be loud or fanatic but one does need
to have a continuous, intimate relationship with Holy Spirit who is
not only the last dispensation assigned to end time living, but who
is present to tell those who are properly positioned in prayer of
things to come!

Keep praying, Rita! Write what you see and share for I believe what
you share will help thwart the schemes of the enemy. Now is the
time for each of us to get in our divine positions and do what we
are called to do!

Be blessed!

Intolerance is as intolerance does. By all means take reasonable precautions vetting the refugees before allowing them in, but
these are people who are fleeing just about the worst things man can do to man. Try to find some love, compassion and
understanding. Just try.

Post Script.

Maybe you can also pray that America repents of its policies in the Middle East that have vastly contributed to the problems
there. Can we all say Afghanistan, Taliban, Egypt, Muslim Brotherhood and now Iraq and ISIS? When will they ever learn?

America has been in the forefront of my prayers lately as well... more
than normal... I realized that during my prayers the Lord has directed
me to introceed in the lives of His people and for those who are
chosen to become His people in the future. I realized that mercy for
ALL of America isn't the aim but that it is for His mercy and direction
towards, coming up along side of His people...

I also keep seeing the "APPEAL TO HEAVEN" flag with the evergreen
on it... waving from my porch and then again on my car... (I feel like
its not displayed for me but for others to take notice and think about)

I'm not sure how my post turned into something for or
against refugees. That song was horrible. that was
right after 9/11/01, when the twin towers fell. I was
praying and God asked me to make my prayers more
specific or strategic. Just the broad "God bless
America" prayer is good, but strategic prayer is
better. Also Abraham prayed for some town, and
Abraham said "if there are 50 righteous, then surely
you wouldn't destroy it." and God said ok. Then 40
people, 30 people, etc. There are plenty of praying
people in America, so I don't believe he is going to
utterly destroy us, so I pray for mercy over
judgement.

Several years ago, God showed me a really strong
earthquake, but it wasn't happening in So Cal. where I
was. I got right to the point interceeding, and I
asked God, if there are just 5 righteous people in
that town, please don't destroy it. God said "but
there is a lot of pressure built up" I said, well,
how about 4 earthquakes in the 3 to 4 range. God said
ok. And that night there were 4 earthquakes in Mammoth
Mountain, CA in the 3-4 range. So God does want us to
interceed. That is sometimes the reason why he shows
us stuff. God is good, gracious, slow to anger, and
prefers mercy over judgement.

I'm curious why you didn't just ask God to release the pressure and prevent the
earthquake entirely, for that was the reason He showed you that one was imminent.

God gave us dominion over the earth for us to use when and where directed, this
includes stopping natural disasters, putting out forest fires and asking for rain
amongst others.

Rose, sometimes judgments are wake up calls that cannot be
turned in prayer.

Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were there, their righteousness would
save no one but themselves, says the Sovereign LORD --Ezekiel
14:14

There are those who want to "pray" away everything but trials come
to make us stronger and/or turn the hearts of humankind back to
God. Somethings must take place and my goal is to warn and not
make the assumption that I can pray everything away for we all sin
and come short of his glory... this includes me and it is ONLY by
His grace and mercy that He cares enough to show us things to
come.

America is in trouble and we, who are called by His name must
humble ourselves and pray, turn from our wicked ways, and seek
His face. The healing of our land is waiting for our response. God
bless you and keep the faith.

I agree that at times God has said 'I do not want you to pray about a situation' and I have not, but when He has shown me something
without the specific warning not to pray about it, my assumption is that it is my responsibility, indeed God-given responsibility, to
jolly well do something about a situation, otherwise what is the point of God telling me about it?

I certainly do not ever assume that it is my call to presume God is judging people or that a certain disaster is any kind of judgement.
There are consequences, and as laid out in Deuteronomy there is an escalating list of disasters that are the consequences of sin.
People are far too trigger happy when it comes to deciding, declaring and plain old enjoying the notion of God's judgement. Since the
cross not only is sin forgiven, but we are the salt in the earth and salt preserves and cleanses. Because of us God's judgement is
withheld until the final judgement. Until then what we contend with is consequence.

Look at it like this - if you eat too much you will gain weight. The weight gain is a consequence and not a judgement.

Sin has consequences, but God's judgement (as described in the OT) is suspended.

Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth"

Judgement is after death:

Hebrews 9:27 "Indeed, just as people are destined to die once and after that to be judged,"

We will have to give account at the Day of Judgement:

Matthew 12:36-37 "But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of
judgment. "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

The world is reserved and kept for the Day of Judgement:

2 Peter 3:7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of
ungodly men.

So if there is no judgement in this present age until the final judgement, and all we have is consequence, and as you pointed out, God is a God of mercy,
forgiveness and loving-kindness, don't you think that He is telling you, His intercessor, about a situation so that you will pray about it.

In your example - you prayed and asked for small earthquakes which did not damage and killed no-one, so if you truly believed that the big one was a judgement
didn't you already thwart that judgement? Why would it have been worse or wrong to turn the earthquakes aside completely?

Hey, cut me some slack. This was about 10 years ago.
That was the first time God showed me that. He was
walking me thru it. That is just what I was led to pray
for. Maybe next time I will get the unction to pray it
to naught. IF God had told me to pray for it to
dissipate altogether, I would have. God was using that
to teach me also. We are all learning, we are all at
different points in our walk with God. Some people are
ahead of us and some people are behind us. I have
prayed for weather and it was either lessened or
disappeared altogether. And the people of Mammoth got
shook up a little.
