Something else God gave me:
Heat, Pressure, and Time
You might have heard before that diamonds and other
precious stones start off as a lump of coal. They are
buried deep within the earth where there is intense
heat and pressure. Over thousands of years the
molecules are slowly rearranged to form something such
a a diamond, ruby, emerald, or sapphire. It starts off
as something ugly, worthless, and common but under
intense heat and pressure over a long period of time
it becomes something very beautiful, precious, and
valuable. So the next time you are feeling the heat
and are under a lot of pressure and there seems to be
no end, God is making you one of His diamonds!
Note: Another thing about precious stones is that they
are extremely strong, diamonds are the hardest
substance known to man.

Thanks for the memories. Several years ago I was privileged to travel to Wales. I stayed at a Christian retreat where they heated with coal. There are many coal mines in Wales so we heard quite a few sermons which incorporated coal as an example. I wanted to visit a mine but ran out of time. I did come home with a couple of pieces of coal, which I look at often to remind me that coal under pressure can make a diamond etc.
Interesting that I saw your post at this time. The last few months have been nearly constant pressure. Only GOD
can turn this vessel into a precious jewel!!

IT WON'T BE LONG UNTIL WE CAN HUG, DANCE AND LEAP FOR JOY!
YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS. IN MY SPIRIT I HEARD: "SHE IS A BEACON TO THE BODY WHICH SHINES THE BRIGHTEST WHEN THE SEAS ARE HIGH AND THE NIGHT IS DARK!"
IT IS SUCH A COMFORT TO KNOW THAT SOMEONE PRAYS FOR YOU AND CARES ABOUT YOUR BURDENS. MY HUSBAND HAS REGAINED SOME MOVEMENT IN HIS FINGER. SOME NERVES ARE DEAD BECAUSE THEY WERE SEVERED AND HIS FINGER GETS SO COLD. WE WOULD APPRECIATE MORE PRAYER. RECENT HEARING AIDS HAVE BROUGHT SUCH JOY TO HIM. IT WAS HARD TO ADJUST AT FIRST BUT HE HAS IT DOWN TO A FINE ART NOW!
