With Easter rapidly approaching I was thinking of a tip I recently heard in regards to boiling the eggs. A guest on a cooking show said to add baking soda to the water before boiling. I got in the middle of the discussion so I didn't hear how much to put in. Anyway, if you put soda in the egg will nearly jump out of the shell when you crack it! I tried two teaspoons in a small pan of water and it worked! Somehow the outer surface of the egg detaches from the shell during boiling.
Have fun and top O' the morning to ya!

Love, Maggie

Hi Maggie!
I see an allegory. Mankind are the eggs, we have the flesh/shell and the egg/soul-spirit of man.

The water represents the medium by which we are purified/tried/the fire you might say.

And of course, the baking soda is our beloved Jesus.

When an uncooked/unrefined egg is cracked, it just makes a mess of the inside.

When a soft boiled is cracked it's not as bad, but it's still sloppy and sticks to the shell.

A hard boiled egg doesn't mind the cracking but the removal of the shell often causes harm to the egg and sometimes it seems like half the egg is still stuck to the shell.

But an egg/man that has been boiled/fired in water that was prepared with/by baking soda/Jesus delights in having its shell/flesh/self removed and the egg/inner man doesn't suffer any damage.

I hope you enjoyed that!

Love you
God bless you and Happy Resurrection Day!
