Jojimon Ministering the Gospel

KERALA, INDIA - A young and currently very busy pre-teen evangelist was mute until he was three, and then suffered from severe stammering until age seven.

Jojimon, 12, was born to orthodox Jacobite parents, Pastor Josemon and mother Kunjamma, on June 1, 1996.

When Jojimon was seven, a pastor from Punalur in Kerala state had a vision about Jojimon, and later the pastor asked Jojimon's parents to bring their son to his house.

There the pastor prayed for Jojimon, and he was healed. Following the healing, Jojimon began praying for the pastor.

After Jojimon’s healing from stammering, God gave him opportunities to work in several places in India and abroad. Jojimon has visited all the districts in Kerala with his ministry. He first ministered outside of Kerala in Bangalore in Karnataka state in the Campus Crusade grounds in 2004.

In 2006, Jojimon ministered in all the states of the United Arab Emirates. In 2007, he visited the Gulf countries of Qatar and Kuwait. In 2007 between October and December, Jojimon ministered in Singapore, Australia, South Africa and Kenya.

He has ministered in almost 1,600 meetings in India and abroad. Some of his meetings have been attended by 6,000 people. One meeting outside Kerala, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Kazipet Railway Stadium, was attended by 35,000 people.

Ministers who have seen Jojimon have wonderful things to say about his ministry.

Jojimon's minister, Pastor Varghese of Pavithreshwaram India Full Gospel Church in Kerala state, said, “Jojimon is an anointed, gifted young boy (who is) very dynamic. He can speak the Word of God for three hours. He is a blessed child of God, and God is been using him in many stages at different places. He has a ... great future.”

Pastor T. M. Thomaskutty, District Pastor of the Church of God of Kerala State, said about Jojimon, “I have known him for many years, and he has a great ministry. (It is) amazing to see the Hand of God on him. No one can question the way God uses children.”

Pastor K.C John, the Kerala State Overseer of Church of God in India, said, “At a very young age, God has poured His amazing grace upon this boy... He can speak the Word of God clearly and fluently without any hindrance. He has a good future ... in the ministry. His performance looks unique to me.”

Asked by ANS about how God can use such a young person so greatly, John said, “For God everything is possible, and we are no one to question God about His miracle.”

Pastor K. Kurien, Founder of Revival Christian Center said, “Jojimon preached in one of our meetings in Andhra Pradesh state, and I ... call him a powerful servant of God. At first I doubted his efficiency in preaching as a small child, but (no more). He has a good command over his subject, and he preaches like an experienced preacher.”

Jojimon told ANS, “I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at age seven. I started to minister after I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me.”

Jojimon attends Pavithreshwaram India Full Gospel Church. Jojimon and his family are also actively involved with Salem Retreat Mission. Jojimon, who is in the eighth grade, has an elder brother called Jomon, who is in the 11th grade. Jojimon’s father is a pastor, and his mother supports his dad in his ministry. They live in a rented house.
