TACOMA, WASHINGTON - Charlene Sanders said it was a nightmare being in court, seeing the people accused of killing her husband James in front of her and their two sons.
"It's really sad that there's so much evil," Sanders said.
A woman and three men went to the Sanders' Washington State home to buy an antique diamond ring they posted for sale on Craigslist. But immediately the foursome pulled out guns, tied up the entire family, stole the ring, ransacked the house, even stole the wedding ring off her finger, then shot and killed her husband.

Sanders also leaves behind grieving parents.
"You just want to touch him and hold him and be able to talk to him one more time and you can't do that," said Linda, Sanders' mother.
"You love your family," said Sanders' father, Jim. "You can lose them in an instant. Just take them and hold them while you can and appreciate every moment you have with them."
"He always said he'd protect his family, he always told the boys he would protect his family and he died protecting his family," the elder Sanders said.
Police warn people who sell items online to meet potential buyers in a safe, public location, like a police or fire station.
