Thomas Kinkade describes himself as a devout Christian. | Well-Known Christian Artist Spends Night in Jail for Suspected DUI

CARMEL, CA - The arresting officers described (Thomas) Kinkade as polite and cooperative. Monterey County prosecutors were awaiting a police report to decide if criminal charges will be filed against him. The Thomas Kinkade Company said in a statement it was reviewing the allegation.
Kinkade's website describes him as the most-collected living American artist. He is famous for his use of light in paintings of cottages, lighthouses, and landscapes.
