Recently, however, several locations in
north Texas opened their doors last Sunday... not to the public but to
tornado victims, and emergency workers assisting those affected by the
wicked weather last weekend.
According to a Blaze report, Chick-fil-A
spokeswoman Amanda Hannah noted that employees of the north Texas
restaurants were there to "prepare and distribute free food to emergency
responders and others in the aftermath of the deadly storms."
Social media took notice, as one Facebook user posted: "This morning Chick-fil-A
is breaking their own rule and cooking on a Sunday. For the best reason
possible, to help feed those first responders and people in need
affected by last night’s tornadoes."
