Blessing in word and deed
Blessing
conveys God’s love and our love, God’s grace and our grace, God’s peace
and our peace. Thus, speaking or writing blessings is vital in our
relationship with God and one another. They edify.
When we verbalize God’s love and our love, we also share the
inheritance God has given us in Christ Jesus. In order to truly convey
blessings, we must back them up with prayer, Godly character and and God
pleasing deeds.
Blessing straight from God’s Word
We can speak or write any or all of the following blessings to our spouse, our children, our extended family and one another.
The LORD bless you and keep you!
The LORD let His face shine on you and be merciful to you!
The LORD look kindly at you and give you peace! Num 6:24-26
May God our Father continue to bless you and give you peace. Ro 1:7b
May
God, who helps you to endure and encourages you, bive you such harmony
with one another as you follow Christ Jesus that together with one voice
you praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ro 15:5-6
The
God of hope fill you with perfect happiness and peace as you believe,
to make you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Ro 15:13
The God of peace be with you all. Amen. Ro 15:33
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all! 2 Cor 13:14
The love/charis/grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my fellow Christians. Amen. Gal 6:18
[I
ask the Father to give you this], “That His spirit will inwardly
strengthen you with power, Christ will live in tour hears by faith, and
you will be firmly rooted and built up in love, so that you and all the
holy people can grasp how broad and long and high and deep love is, and
know how Christ loves us—more than we can know—and so you will be filled
with all that is in God.” Eph 3:17b-19
May
God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give our fellow Christians
peace and love with faith! His love be with all who have an undying love
for our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 6:23-24
The
Lord make you grow in love and overflow with it for one another and for
everybody, just as we love you, and so may He give you inward strength
to be holy and without a fault before our God and Father when our Lord
Jesus comes with all His holy ones. 1 Th 3:12-13
The
God of peace make you holy in every way and keep your spirit and life
and body sound and without a fault when our Lord Jesus Christ comes. You
can depend on Him—He will do it. 2 Th 5:23-24
Now
our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by
His love gave us and everlasting comfort and a good hope, inwardly
comfort and strengthen you to do and say everything that is good. 2 Th 2:16-17
The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit! God’s love be with you all! 2 Tim 4:22
The love/charis/grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirits. Amen. Philemon 1:25
The
God of peace brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, who by His
blood made an everlasting covenant to become the great Shepherd of the
sheep—may He give you every good thing you need, to do what He wants you
to do, working in us through Jesus Christ what pleases Him. To Him be
glory forever. Amen. Heb 13:20-21
Peace be to all of you who are in Christ! 1 Pe 5:14
As you know God and our Lord Jesus, may you enjoy more and more of his grace and peace. 2 Pe 1:2
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the holy people. Amen. Rev 22:21
The following blessing is taken from one of Paul’s prayers. Receive in from God.
May our God “make
you worthy of His calling and by His power accomplish every good thing
you decide to do and every work of faith, so as to glorify the name of
our Lord Jesus among you, and you in Him, according to the love of our
God and Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thes 1:11-12
