Okey just sharing...One of the first encounters I had with
either an angel or Jesus..in a laundromat..well I told this
first part on here before but I will share it again.....I
was
in a laundromat in a small town next to where I live and I
was feeling sad and missing family and when I went in I
noticed a young man with a guitar...my dad and brother use
to
play guitars when I was home....and my dad was passed at
this
time. And somehow we started talking this young man and
me,
he was not someone I'd normally talk to....he had Tatoos
and
these large things in his ears and he appeared dirty and
smelled a bit.....and so we started talking and I noticed
some godly stickers on his guitar...as we talked I learned
he
knew about the LORD and after we had finished our laundry
and
we were preparing to leave I hugged him and when I got in
my
car to go, the presence of the LORD hit me so hard....I
seriously felt like I was not going to make it home I was
so
full (drunk) in the spirit..and on the way home the LORD
told
me to go by a restaurant and pray for the owner in
there....I
knew them ....and I heard that there was an angel seen in
Their office in the restaurant
that afternoon and their business improved after that....
And then I was in another laundromat when on a vacation and
I
was not feeling very happy. ....actually I was hating being
the laundromat.... And this man started talking to me an
older nice man with the most soothing voice..and he was
just
being friendly....I just was not friendly again....I just
wanted to get finished...and then when I left I had the
strongest feeling I knew that had been another lesson on
loving and being nice and I just wished I could have a
redo.....and then just this last week....I was in a hurry
and
at a laundromat and I saw a little older man and he just
seemed to be hovering over people and really watching
me...I
felt annoyed by Him. And as I was waiting for my one load
of
laundry this man came over ànd asked me if I'd like a cold
water...I was tired and hot...but I said no....and man when
I
left there I knew OK ...Rose that was another lesson....I
felt terrible...I felt like that could have been an angel
or
Jesus...I do want to love like Jesus and man he is shaping
me
and teaching me to love everyone everywhere.... I can't do
it
without him......please keep molding me Lord.....thank you

I do love your testimonies. They come from such a sweet spirit but also from a totally relatable human. And that's what God loves as well. That is why it is all about Him because we couldn't be Jesus if we tried EXCEPT for the Holy Spirit. It is totally His working in us. And to be so conscious of the Presence of the Holy Spirit, but also conscious of how much He is needed in our lives on a constant basis just even to soothe those rough edges in us that sometimes show up, constantly polishing and creating the jewel, and making sure the jewel reflects all the light in us. That is His work and our need for His constant companionship. But that truly is our comfort too, that He is right there, not condemning but showing us areas we still need to work on or bathe in His Presence so we take on more and more of Him. I so love your testimonies, because I feel immersed in them, feeling what you are feeling and relating to it!

Rose,
God is good and He gives 2nd,3rd,4th and 100+ chances! I am so
thankful that He does! When we fail to be like Him then He will give us
another chance and we will do it the right way, God's way, because His
spirit is working in us not our flesh. As long as you, and we all, keep
being open to His leading and will then it will be ok.
I have learned over my walk with the Lord that I need to think about what
it is I'm asking for when I ask for opportunities to do His will for
someone. I've asked many times and He's answered many times and
pretty much every time I fail. The opportunity arises and I just hike it on
back home in a sense. As I was thinking about this just now though
perhaps I was asking amiss. I asked for opportunities to do His will and
He gave them to me and I failed. Why? Now I'm thinking it's because I
did it in the flesh and I was walking in the flesh when the opportunity
came. So maybe the right prayer is to ask for opportunities to witness
and or minister and to ALSO ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit so we
will walk God's way and the work will get done according to His will.
I too am encouraged by your post. It lets me, and others,all know we're
not alone in our walk and especially when we stumble.

Yes I have had and probably will have other stumbles...but
they are ALL LEARNING CURVES...I LOVE TO LEARN AND HOLY
SPIRIT IS AWESOME AT TEACHING...I AM A WILLING VESSEL...SO
EACH TIME I DON'T GET IT RIGHT I ASK GOD...AND I LEARN
FROM IT....... SO THANK YOU BOTH AND THANK YOU GOD....his
ways are so much better.......teach me Lord...teach
me...thank you Jesus
