THE MERCY SEAT
Are we being his hands and feet
Do we show them to the mercy seat
Do we show them his love and grace
And encourage them to seek his face
Do we show them the right path to take
Do we embrace them for Jesus sake
Do we pull them out of the mire
Is our life a life to inspire
Many to come to Jesus’ cross
To sit at the place where he died for the lost
To realize he rose from the grave
From our wickedness and sin to save
To a heavenly place above all names
To our Fathers side in love he came
To make a way for you and me
To give us liberty to set us free
From all dark powers because he brings light
To our blind eyes he gives us sight
To see the things the traps and snares
To block our way from getting there
To that secret place where he rules and reigns
Where he transforms us heals our pain
Are we being his hands and feet
Do we show them to the mercy seat
