Make Haste, My Beloved!

James 5:7-8 Be patient, therefore, beloved, until the coming
of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth,
waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also
be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draws
nigh.

Song 8:14 Make haste, my beloved! Be like a gazelle or a
young stag on the mountains of spices.

.
.
.

The Bride longs for the Bridegroom's return, yet waits patiently,
clinging to and enjoying the promise

"the coming of the Lord draws nigh".

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." --Rev 22:17

Hear His voice calling "Come Today"! --Heb 4:7

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout aloud to the
Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him {into His presence} with
thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. --Ps 95:1-2

Come! Drink the living water, water flowing from the Rock --1 Cor 10:4
Be filled, for in His presence is fullness of joy, eternal joy! --Ps 16:11
Oh, how the Bride longs to be drawn away, swept up into His presence.

Draw me away! -- Song 1:3-4

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. --Ja 4:8

Establish your hearts!
Establish your hearts on the Rock of His word --Mt 7:25
Be firm, stable, constant, unwavering

Be steadfast, immovable,
Always abounding in the work of the Lord. --1 Cor 15:58

For the Bridegroom's answer to the Bride's cry
"Make haste, my beloved" is:

"Surely I am coming quickly."

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
Be with you all. Amen. --Rev 22:20-21

My Beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag.
Behold, He is standing behind our wall,
He is looking through the windows,
He is peering through the lattice. –Song 2:9

Make haste, my Beloved! –Song 8:14

Heart Cry

Psalm 42:1   As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul
pants for you, O God.

What is the cry of your heart? How earnestly are you seeking the Lord?
Does your soul thirst for Him as the deer pants for the living water in a
dry and weary land?

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-
kindness. –Jer 31:3

Taste His love, a love better, more delightful than wine. Be drawn by
His love better than life.

May he kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than
wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like
perfume poured out. Therefore the virgins love you. Draw me away! Let
us run together! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and
delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they
are to adore you! –Song 1:2-4

Taste and see, you will be swept away, caught up in His love, you will
sing His praise. Your heart cry will be,
“Make haste, my beloved, come quickly to me”.

Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who trust in
Him! -Ps 34:8

Heart Cry {A song}

Draw me, draw me, draw me away
Draw me, draw me, draw me away.

For you have loved me with an everlasting love
A love more delightful than wine.
You’ve stolen my heart
I’ve tasted and seen
And now I run after thee.

Draw me, draw me, draw me away
Draw me, draw me, draw me away.

Make haste, my beloved!
Be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices. –song 8:14

He who testifies to these things says,
“Yes, I am coming quickly “

Amen Come, Lord Jesus. –Rev 22:20

Psalm 63:1-8
1 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you,
… my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land
... where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.
3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my
hands.
5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;
… with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the
night.
7 Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings.
8 My soul clings to {follows hard after} you; your right hand upholds
me.

Thrills HIS heart to hear us speak this to HIM, I get such JOY as I sing to HIM, "As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after YOU. YOU alone are my hearts desire and I long to worship YOU. YOU alone are my Strength, my Shield. To YOU alone will my spirit yield. I want YOU more than gold or silver, only YOU can really satisfy. YOU alone are my hearts desire and I long to worship YOU." Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth — For your love is better
than wine. Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is
ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you. Draw me after
you and let us run together!
The king has brought me into his
chambers." "We will rejoice in you and be glad; We will extol your love
more than wine. The upright love you."--Song 1:2-4

From http://net.bible.org/verse.php?book=Sos&chapter=1&verse=4
Quote:
*The verb (mashakh, “draw”) is a figurative expression
(hypocatastasis) which draws an implied comparison between the physical
acting of leading a person with the romantic action of leading a person in
love. Elsewhere it is used figuratively of a master gently leading an animal
with leather cords (Hos 11:4) and of a military victor leading his captives
(Jer 31:3). The point of comparison might be that the woman wants to be
the willing captive of the love of her beloved, that is, a willing prisoner of
his love.

The heart cry of an awakened heart desparately longing to be drawn
away by her beloved in His cords of love.

[Joyfully the radiant bride turned to him, the one altogether lovely, the
chief among ten thousand to her soul, and with unconcealed eagerness to
begin her life of sweet companionship with him, she answered] Make
haste, my beloved, and come quickly, like a gazelle or a young hart [and
take me to our waiting home] upon the mountains of spices! --Song 8:14
AMP

Establish your hearts on the Rock
... for the coming of the Lord draws nigh.
Surrender in complete abandonment
Sing in the shadow of His wings
Rejoice and be glad
Set the Lord always before
Follow hard
Upheld in His presence taste fullness of joy
Drink deeply of His love
Let Him flood your dry ground --Ps 44:3
The path of life made known

At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. --Ps 16:11

.
.

My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Better is one day in your courts than 1000 elsewhere --Ps 84:2,10!

As the deer pants for the streams of living water
So my soul pants for you, O God. --Ps 42:1
